Action oriented titles are more appealing than turn based to the general audience nowadays, thus resulting in a larger amount of sales for a game. Don't hate me though, i really much like turn based games, but i prefer action ones.

well sales don't make people know a concrete character of a game. I dont think general audience would know king k rool as he has just appeared in 7/8 main donkey kong games, and he hasn't appeared in the last two. People know sora more because of the different advertising he has got throughout the years, and if you don't believe me, just look at all the different sony montages at e3. Sora has appeared in many of them. As for king k rool, his last add was in a youtube trailer at nintendo's channel, which hasn't even reached that many views. As for dissidia, disney dissagreed because if they made the game, mickey, donald and goofy would have to be in the game, and they didn't want these characters to be in a fighting game. And as you may know, kingdom hearts is no kingdom hearts without at least donald and goofy, who have appeared in all the games.

i never said no to king k rool, and i personally voted for him as well, but that doesn't change the fact that sora is a more well known character to the general videogame audience than king k rool, and that's why i feel he has a bigger chance than king k rool to appear in the game, as we've already got his mii costume. Anyways, in the best case scenario, they could both end up in the game along with snake!

well come to think of it, squaresoft was almost banckrupt when they made final fantasy. It could've been their last game.

that we know of... they could make another team, just like they did with their new ip at e3. Granted there were a few veterans in the team but there were mostly new members, although I don't think it would be affordable, because it'd be a very risky thing to do company wise (not that thay haven't done stuff like that before, final fantasy I is the biggest example in taking risks when it comes to videogame development).

yeah but it critically acclaimed and whiever played it enjoyed it thoroughly. The same thing happened with shenmue, and see what happened at e3.

they'll probably announce ff xii hd at the conference and show more of vii remake, maybe even announce ff viii pc version for ps4. I've waited more than 3 years for this to happen.

Predictions:twilight princess hd * zelda u *, xenoblade*, virtual console titles*, smash dlc* and ballot winners, pikmin 4, pokemon go, pokemon z, pokken*, mario and luigi paper jam*, fire emblem fates*, fire emblem x shin megami*, mistery dungeon trailer* (only for europe), amiibos*, splatoon* and mario kart 8 dlcs, mario maker *dlc, star fox zero*, metroid prime federation force, bravely second*, final fantasy explorers*, hyrule warriors legends* and final surprise of new f-zero game exclusive to New 3ds. My god the hypeee!!!!!!!!!!! And it will probably be around an hour or so, so the more we get, the better!! I got so many right! Proud of myself lol!

oh ok so it was an official statement from square enix. Sorry can't argue with that. In my country they had a news article that they must've translated incorrectly, so that's why i still had faith in xv-2. Well im looking forward to the new ip now.
