New Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX commercial released
Nathan Hatton replied to Sora96's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
This was a commercial, not a trailer, so that was in fact the final trailer -
Ubisoft Should Stop Making Assassin's Creed Games
Nathan Hatton replied to Tails's topic in General Discussion
I personally love the series. Can't wait for rogue, and eventually unity, once I have a PS4 someday. I think most of the hate for the series ends up being placed on Connor. AC3 was actually the first game I had played. I never really saw any advertising for it, I had just heard it was a great series and that game was on sale. I made it about halfway through the game, but was pretty confused as to what was going on (big picture "assassin vs. templar"-wise) since I had never played any of the other games. So I bought the rest of the games. I started playing them last May, and over the entire summer played through 1, 2, brotherhood, revelations, and 3, and parts of 4 (haven't finished yet, though i know what happens) Now I'm almost done with liberation HD, and then I'll finish 4. Basically to sum up how I felt about all those games: 1 is super boring and repetitive. It looks pretty, but that's about it's only good quality. Yes, I realize it was the first real open-world game for last gen, but it really is terrible. 2 was MUCH improved over the original and had a new wonderfully interesting lead character in Ezio. Loved it! Brotherhood basically refined 2 even further and made it even better. Revelations was essentially the same thing as 2, just with a shorter story. But it still felt great because Ezio. This time playing 3 (I started over) everything made sense. Haytham still annoyed me, and Connor was much less interesting than Ezio. BUT, his story was still pretty decent. Much better than Altair. I liked a lot of the gameplay improvements, though several of them were not refined enough and weren't refined enough until 4. I think the biggest problem with 3 is that it wasn't the game that was advertised. They advertised it as a big American Revolution game where Connor would fighting in major battles and that kind of stuff. Which would have been AWESOME. But instead you had missions of dumping tea, or commanding men to shoot redcoats, or ducking behind cover so you didn't get shot until you could run up a hill and assassinate a commander from a tree. They overhyped things that weren't a part of the game, something Ubisoft made a point to not do with black flag. And from what I can tell they have done a good job of this with rogue and Unity as well. Also, I know a lot of people hate the modern day storylines, but I actually really enjoyed them. Like I would love to actually see the outside world after whatever happened at the end of 3, as opposed to the inside of Abstergo in 4. I personally hope they bring this stuff back in later games. just my thoughts -
Why Do People Think They Can Only Use One Company's Systems?
Nathan Hatton replied to Shulk's topic in General Discussion
I pick the consoles with the games I want to play. For me it has always been Nintendo and Sony. I love almost all of the first party nintendo series and will always want to play them. I fell in love with playstation back during the days of crash bandicoot (though I never had a ps1). And then exclusives like Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank and Kingdom Hearts got me to buy a ps2. I only got a ps3 almost 2 years ago because I just couldn't afford it until then, but games like Uncharted, Infamous, MLB the Show, Kingdom Hearts, etc. were ones I had wanted for years. If the Xbox had exclusive games I wanted to play, then I would get one, but I personally don't like shooters so Halo has no appeal to me. Their other exclusives like Gears of War and stuff don't interest me either. All the other good games are multiplatform, so by getting a playstation, I can play the exclusives I want as well as everything else. And then I get a nintendo system to play mario, zelda, metroid, pokemon, etc. Final point, I have played xbox many times because of various friends who had them. I never liked the feel of the controller. I always thought it was the alternating buttons and joysticks as opposed to the aligned ones on playstation controllers, but the gamecube controller was always comfortable. So i'm not really sure, but I never felt comfortable with xbox controllers. So yeah, it has nothing to do with me having to be loyal to one brand over another. I spend my money on things I'm gonna use. I wouldn't use an xbox. -
I'm gonna have two copies of each game now because I'm keeping my awesome art book case of 1.5. Also, I like the artwork better for the regular 2.5 case. The steel book is cool but it's just the artwork from KH2 FM+ and Re: CoM from it's original release, which kind of bothers me considering CoM is not even part of 2.5. I wish they had done new original artwork, but it still looks cool. I can't wait for my plushie and art book.

It's a "Dust" jacket not a "Dusk" jacket. Though a Dusk jacket like the Duck nobody would be kinda cool, it's probably just a protective sleeve for it or something One think I don't like about it is the artwork on the steel book case. I mean that's just the artwork from KH2 FM+ which came with Re: Chain of Memories. That's why the right side has the CoM Sora holding cards. This Steelbook case has no reference to BBS or re: coded, you know the two games that are actually in this besides KH2. I wish they had created brand new artwork for it. It still looks great but that's just one detail that bothers me.

Are you planning on getting HD 2.5 ReMIX Collector's Edition?
Nathan Hatton replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week
Pre-ordered it as soon as I saw the twitter notification from KH13 when I woke up. And I have about a month to decide whether to keep my pre-order of the other edition. I honestly just want it for the gorgeous box art. and I just got an extra $40 last week so I can spare the money. Then I'll just have 2 copies of both games. Do I need that?? NO. Do I want that? YES. Am I ok with this? DOUBLE YES -
I would love Atlantis and Wreck-It Ralph. I have mixed feelings about frozen, cuz I love the movie, but I don't know how it would be in a game. Pocahontas, sure. Please no more agrabah... I'm so sick of that world now. Especially since it was the exact same in 4 of the 5 games it was in. Toy Story, Yes. Any pixar world really. Black cauldron, eh, doesn't sound that interesting to me. The Jungle Book? yeah i'd dig that. The main problem with your list is that you have 14 worlds. There will either be 13 or 20. All the games so far have had 13 or 7. KH1, KH2, CoM, and BBS have 13. 358/2 Days, Coded, and 3D have 7. KH3 is way too big a game to only have 7. So at least 13, you could argue 20 as well as a representation of the 13 darknesses fighting the 7 lights.

They've been hinting at bringing back Crash Bandicoot for so long now, I bet that's it!

Who are they?
Nathan Hatton replied to Timothy Ling Jit Houng's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
I doubt this. In the most recent interview (quoted a few posts before this), Nomura specifically cited them as being two completely new voice actors who haven't appeared in the series. This implies new characters, especially since Young Xehanort has already been voiced -

Music Jimmy Fallon ft. Will.i.am- Ew!
Nathan Hatton replied to Power Jusho's topic in General Discussion
Haha a friend of mine sent this to me a few minutes ago. I was laughing so hard. -
It's a week before Black Friday in the US. It will sell just fine. In fact, many people who have been holding out on a Wii U while waiting for Smash will probably get them now. I expect a huge increase in units sold

Yeah the more I listen to it, the harder it is to tell. It's kinda like her voice, but it's kinda not. It's a little higher than Willa's voice, and kinda missing that slightly raspy (best word I could think of) quality she can have. But it's just so short, I really can't tell. Maybe it will be in the credits if it changed good call!! Hopefully those videos get uploaded and then we can have a better reference to go off of

Ok so listen to the scene with Aqua. There isn't much there unfortunately, but I think Willa Holland may not have returned for the extra scenes. Because that doesn't really sound like her. I know she had said a while ago that she might not come back to doing kingdom hearts because she had moved on to more mature stuff. (stupid reason, though she is awesome on Arrow) So hopefully I'm wrong because I love her voice as Aqua.

Nomura said in his last interview (or perhaps the one before that) that because it is not canon, they are actively looking at ways so that everyone can understand it. AKA they are probably gonna localize it but they just aren't announcing it yet. Anyone remember after the credits of 1.5 were seen and it teased 2.5? The response was: "yeah we teased it but we can't confirm if it's gonna happen." What happened soon after it was released in localized countries? 2.5 gets announced! Now lets look at things this year: 2.5 has been released in japan and teases 3DHD as well as the importance of KH X[chi]. It just so happens that it releases in localized countries a little over 2 weeks before Jump Festa, where Square has previously announced KH games, teased them, shown new trailers, etc. The odds of this happening again are very high. I'm sure we will all get to play KH X eventually.
