I think that the inheritance ceremony is one way to gain a way to wield the keyblade. The other is the right heart. I believe that Nomura said that Sora would have been able to wield the keyblade even without Ven's heart. I think that Ven's heart led the keyblade to choose Sora after Riku opened himself to darkness, but I think that the reason Sora was still able to wrestle the keyblade from Riku afterwards was the strength of his heart proving that he really was a chosen wielder of the keyblade. Ven's heart led the keyblade to Sora, but it is not the reason why he can wield a keyblade. Also, in KH3D, Sora says that Xemnas lost the ability to wield the keyblade. This may or may not refute Nomura's interview because it could just be Sora's belief. That could be true. If he used a keyblade whose wielder is chosen based on the stregnth of the wielder's heart, it might lead the other nobodies to question him as their leader.

Unless it is a hit, than no. For the most part, KH Disney worlds have been based on classic Disney films. Pirates was popular and included in order to promote the sequal. Lilo & Stitch did ok, but it is popular in Japan. The Country of the Musketeers was included because no previous KH had the three amigos, aka Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, together. Disney's Castle is included because it is considered the centerpiece of Disney, just like every Disney Magic Kingdom has a castle (Sleeping Beauty's castle at all locations except Florida, where it is Cinderella's Castle). The Hunchback of Notra Dame was a weird case. It is not real considered a classic, even though it was part of the Disney Renaissance (at least, I don't consider it a classic). The world is probably one of the worst in the KH series.

yeah, but there are too many common types that steel types are weak to. Fire, Ground, and Fighting type pokemon are pretty common occurances to see. It does not matter if Steel types have excellent defense and special defense because they stand no chance against those types.

I don't think steel got nerfed in Gen VI. They were the weakest type to begin with. If anything, the addition of the Fairy type is an actual buff to the Steel type because Fairy, for some reason, is weak to steel. Expect more players to use Steel types in competition, especially with the addition of Mega Lucario. Steel lost the resistance to Ghost and dark to compensate for this, though. Steel had to many resistances to begin with because of how weak a type they were.

Sora does not beat people and take their money, he destroys heartless and the in-game currency appears as a reward. GTA takes video game violence to a whole new level basing the game about doing illegal activities (illegal in real life, that is)

Who would not love a game that allows one to pretend that they are committing major crimes? Anyone with good sense of morality.

Now I actually have a reason to purchase a pre-owned PS3. KH 1.5 HD was not enough of a reason for me, and other games on the system do not appeal to me.

It was not Roxas's fault that he existed when he was not suppose to. Also, remember that Roxas was seeking out Sora for answers, as well as to free the artificial Kingdom Hearts.

I know that no one technically remembers Xion, but some traces of her existence still remain. Could Roxas feel this "unknown" resentment towards Riku as well?

The one of the reasons why Kingdom Hearts was released on the PS2 originally is the large installation basis. The Xbox series of consoles are marketed as "mature" consoles. KH does not fit that theme. Wii U should get a KH game before any Xbox system getting one would be considered. Almost half, although actually side games, of KH games have been released on Nintendo handhelds (I don't care if Square had to be bribed in order to make KH on Nintendo handhelds. the point is that they did). It makes sense for Wii U, not for Xbox One.

The old Mickey cartoons are classic and recognized the world over. Same thing with Winnie the Pooh. Using classic material is fine. Julius was real more of a secret boss than an important plot point, so it would not matter if people did not know about him. As for Experiment 221, he was featured on the Lilo & Stitch DVD bonus features, as well as getting a starring role in the movie pilot to a TV series (even though the role was very minor in Birth by Sleep). The point is that major plot items must be based on items that are classical Disney, and the TV spin-offs of movies just will not cut it.

I do not think that the KH franchise will ever draw on the animated series. There is a lot of rich tradition left in Disney animated movies that have not been used. KH would have to have gone stale in order to draw on animated series that Japanese audiences would never have even heard of. As for Hades, he is technically a god. He can eventually escape from the pit of souls, even with the hatred of all the dead souls trying to hold him down.

I think it is an interesting idea. I would be in favor of them testing the idea in Disneyland Tokyo. If it is received well there, they should do another test in the original Disneyland before bringing Sora, Riku, and other KH original characters to other Disney Parks. I think it would be an interesting idea to see Sora and Riku on a float during a parade in the Magic Kingdom! So, definitely count me in favor!

Does Terra count towards the 13? We have Ansem (seeker of darkness), Xemnas, MX, YX, Xigbar, and Saix. Since Xemnas and Ansem are the Nobody and Heartless of Terranort, does Terranort count towards the 13? I think the 13th member will probably be a new character that could be the new primary antagonist going forward.

They are very useful though. Mainly from the Wind Waker Triforce quest. You have to find the map, and then pay Tingle a whopping 398 Ruppees in order to read it. Plus his catchphrase is very annoying.

This goes back to the theory about the 7th guardian of light. But since we know six of the 7 guardians, this is a bit more tricky. I am going to go out on a limb here and say the unrevealed members in KH3D were members of the original Organization XIII. This is probably not right, but I honestly do not think that any other characters that have been introduced so far could possibly be one of the unrevealed 13 darknesses.

Yeah, and that is the biggest negative that many NA fans of the game have against it. We cannot stand Tingle!!!

I also think the HD remake of Wind Waker looks stunning. I think there are many FF fans on this site who still have a bad taste from the Square-Nintendo feud that started with Nintendo's decision to go with cartridges on the N64 instead of the slower but higher capacity and cheaper to manufacture CDs. They still have not forgiven Nintendo, even though it seems that Square Enix has.

Xenoblade was one of the most beautiful and well made games! The graphics were so good, that it is kind of hard to believe that it was done with Wii's power. Since Monolith Soft's new game looks amazing, I would be surprised if a potential KH3 port's graphic would not be close to par with the PS4/Xbox One version.

I think it will happen, but it better have several extras in it. 1. A Master Quest mode. 2. Quick Save anytime 3. More background about Majora's Mask. 4. Lose Tingle. 5. Improve Goron rolling. It takes me a long time to do anything that involves Goron rolling, especially the mountain moon mini-dungeon. That is the true nightmare in the game.

The differences in PS4/Xbox One is not a reason. This form title should be Square reveals why there are no immediate plans to port KH3 to Wii U. The story's information comes from a second hand source, so some information might be wrong. The hardware difference between PS2 and PS3 forced them to develop KH 1.5 HD from scratch. Theoretically, they could do the same thing for KH3 from PS4 to Wii U, although the graphics might suffer some. Plus, never trust what companies say. If the money is there, they will do it. Capcom said that there were no plans to port Okami to Wii, but they did. The Operation Rainfall campaign convinced Nintendo to release three RPGs in NA. If Square thinks that the return on investment for porting KH3 to Wii U is good, then there is a good chance it will happen, although a good while after the original release.
