I'm iffy on this. I have faith in Pixar because they generally make good things, but I thought Toy Story was fine with just getting extra shorts as side stories. Like the Halloween one and the beach one. We'll see how this turns out, but I'm skeptical.

I actually wouldn't have mind an actual sequel to Toy Story 3 that was not a standalone film. The reason for this is, it would have told exactly how the toys adapted to their new owner, and how they would have been different from after Andy. That is something the short films can not cover, and so that was something they could have worked with.

@WalkingDawn96 I get what you're getting at, but I feel like leaving that time up for the interpretation of the viewers is the best way to go. We followed the adventures of the toys when they were with Andy and a lot of the viewers grew up with Andy too. Where they left it was really nice and they've shown what like with their new owner is like in the shorts I mentioned earlier.

LOL. That was who I was thinking of when I made this status. That is beautiful, Shana. I'll put this on my profile. And maybe I can keep it a while longer in that case but I really do have to go back to Winner's Proof soon enough. I like that name too much, I have a history with it and all.

From what I understand, there's a lot of grinding involved in the older ones. I don't remember having many moments in IX where I needed to grind for a long time, though. So long as you keep up with the enemies you come across while going to your next destination, you should be set for the most part.

No problem! I've heard that V is one of the best games in the series, so that would probably be a good one to start off with.

Yeaaaaaaaaah... let's just say that forgetting to save in Persona cost me a few hours. And it happened at least twice. (And once with BBS, but there was a power outage, so... yeah.)

Seriously, the best way to make a hard game harder, is to force you to save to keep your progress.

Yes! Persona was exactly the series I had in mind. Just like that all your progress is lost. (How'd that happen with BBS? Doesn't the PSP only hibernate when the battery is low?)

I've watched let's plays of it and it the gameplay looks pretty damn boring but the story is good.

Yeah there's almost no gameplay to them at all bar a few QTEs. It really is the most literal definition of a game you play for the story.

I don't think that's what they consciously mean, but it's the sort of attitude they seem to give off. How can people like [X]? And then when something they happen to not like gets popular, they act like THEY'RE the victims because oh dear, they have to see it everywhere even though it sucks!

If it makes you happy, and it's not hurting someone, ignore everyone else and enjoy it.

I ignore because I don't agree. I don't want to start an argument with those people. I just let people enjoy the movie. No need to spread the negativity that I feel. I shouldn't stop people from liking it.
