could the wizard of oz be in kh3?
Pretty much this. The original books themselves are in the public domain now, but the 1930s adaptation everyone knows is still owned by Warner Bros. Most likely if anything they'd use the Oz: The Great and Powerful or take from the books which are radically different, but they can't use the first movie as a source.

I've seen some of Sign, but I tried the first game out a couple of years back and just couldn't get into it. Plus it doesn't help how crazy expensive QUARANTINE and the GU games are now. lol

My thoughts on Pokemon OmegaRuby\AlphaSapphire
I know you can just "not use it", but it's ridiculous how casualized the games are to the point that they just hand out practically 700 BST mons after the 5th gym. You're forced to box one of your party members if your team is full so it's obvious they want you to use it. It's just an option, but it's also a forced option that is ridiculous when you're not even fighting high-level pokemon at that point. It just makes whatever semblance of difficulty the games had before a complete joke. Like I understand they had to do something with Lati@s because of the soaring mechanic, but the least they could've done is made it a real battle. lol It's just so anticlimactic to give handouts for legendaries now.

The Unpopular Opinions Thread
Everyone is attracted to different things, so I think it's more that it's impossible to truly understand just because all of our brains don't physiologically work the same way. Obviously as identifying as asexual (or bisexual, for that matter) you don't care so much what's going on down there, but for me personally it does (not saying being mentally attracted isn't as important, it's just that I care about the physical more than you probably do). There's only a couple of lewd acts that I'm interested in, but I'm sure for any other men or women or whatever out there it's highly possible they don't share the same view, which is why sexual orientation is such a widespread concept that exists. Basically it's just that everyone has preferences, but some are more exclusive than others. It makes the world a lot more interesting than if sodomy never existed. lol This is why we need Straight Rights

The moment where we screamed *BULLSHIT*
They added in the Trainers' Choice after the Japanese version stopped doing the Who's That Pokemon segments during the 3rd gen adaptation. I honestly have no clue what the Seviper mistake was about though; my closest guess was that it was supposed to be based on what pokemon Seviper is closest to, and it would've been Arbok since they're both snakes, but idk that's just my speculation. lol

My thoughts on Pokemon OmegaRuby\AlphaSapphire
Shota Kageyama wrote Zinnia's stuff. Pokemon games have been a co-operative effort by a couple of people since GSC, but they tend to use the same people anyway. One of the biggest problems I have with Gen 6's music is that Go Ichinose contributed nothing when he's the mastermind behind a lot of the best stuff like Ecruteak City, Route 104, Sootopolis City, Route 216, Canalave City, and Opelucid City to name a few. I suppose he lives on vicariously through the remasters in ORAS though. I have my issues with ORAS, though (because let's be honest what Pokemon game is perfect?). While it's still miles better than XY, there's still some problems in that they never addressed complaints in the original games in the first place, one of the biggest being the lack of diversity in the last third of the game because of how much firetrucking water routes there are, not to mention having 8 HMs again, though Fly and Flash are pretty moot anyway. But then there's shit like just giving away Lati@s after the 5th gym? And the way too buffed Exp Share about an hour into the game? Like???? Not to mention the game still has framerate issues even without 3D - in fact, I thought it was worse than in XY, but maybe that's me retroactively thinking about it too much. I don't like the Delta Episode either, but it's more because of how horribly written Zinnia is (along with the fact that this was the biggest new feature in the game, but they spoiled all of it a week before release). I can understand having a flawed character that's well written, but Zinnia just is a shitty person. She leads you on a wild goose chase for no purpose other than because GF wants her to be a "cool" character. She could have just explained all this link cable theory shit (which is just a theory, mind you) instead of purposefully misguiding you for no reason other than because she's so dead set on one solution. Scientific research doesn't come cheap, so when she destroys the worm hole thing just think about all of the wasted man hours and funds that went into that for a theory. But no I guess the point is that she's such a smarmy asshole she doesn't realize the wrongs she's doing when she's too busy knocking out children to take their mega ring bullshit. And she seemed pretty firetrucking okay with this version of Hoenn getting firetrucked up by a massive drought or severe flooding. Like that's the biggest thing that gets me, she could have stepped in at any point during Archie and Max's storylines but no she basically had the mindset of "I'm just gonna sit this one out and let someone else handle it". Like for someone who's so set on saving a theoretical universe she sure was ok with this one getting firetrucked up. The Deoxys cutscene was cool, not going to lie. Totally cheesy, but Pokemon is just wish-fulfillment after all. I also hope this means event legendaries won't be exclusive anymore because that's still bullshit. Anyway, another problem I have is the postgame. I don't care about the battle frontier not being in (which is still a bullshit excuse, but I digress), but it's ridiculous that all they did was copy and pasted the battle maison and BW move tutors onto an island and called it a new area along with taunting people with the battle tower model and the frontier brain music. The Mirage Spots are such bullshit as well when it's a feature that relies on Streetpassing a lot of people or going on line. Good luck with getting Cresselia or finding a TM you need when you're in a low population density area with shitty online. Idk, I do agree that ORAS was at least decent in comparison to the shitfest that was XY (like a solid 3.5 / 5 instead of a 2 / 5 like XY), but overall Gen 6 has just been so lackluster but I know it's moot to think of it like that when I know I'm going to still buy Gen 7 whenever those games come out (or the 3rd version of the Kalos games that will actually fix everything wrong with XY like Platinum did to DP).

I always like your in-depth analysis posts, so I'd be down for more of that tbh.

'Mary Poppins' as a musical world? (Ideas and discussion)
If there was a musical world like Atlantica again, I'd rather see something based on Song of the South, especially since the Hundred-Acre Wood subworld is pretty much done with and it'd be cool to see another "no battles" world like that. Too bad Disney likes to act like it never existed because of the controversy, though. Hearing an arrangement of Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah in a Kingdom Hearts world would make my day.

The Unpopular Opinions Thread
Pretty much this. The nuke droppings over Nagasaki and Hiroshima was a last-ditch effort by the Allied forces to shock Japan into surrendering, which yes while it was an awful event, it was literally the last choice they had if they ever wanted to force Japan to stop. The Japanese were a very honor-bound people even at this time to the point they were willing to dive bomb suicide themselves to protect the nation - this is where the term "kamikaze" comes from, after all. They never lost a war before in their hundreds of years of military history and were never invaded before, but the leaders still had a pipe dream about "negotiating" with the Allied forces to keep some of the land in the Pacific they had taken over the course of the war because they were imperialistic like the US in the early 20th century. It was very possible many more casualties on both sides could have happened over the course of months or years before Japanese leaders realized how futile it is to keep fighting when they're backed into such a tight corner. Also I don't believe the whole "if they were white it wouldn't have happened" theory when there's more to it than just about "the evil whities oppressing a poor tiny island nation". Japan was never just a dinky island nation that would never do any evil when they were bullying countries over on that side of the Pacific for years. They did a lot of heinous crap to China (in fact, look up about the Nanjing Massacre), and Korea was basically their bitch for hundreds of years. In fact, the reason North / South Korea was split in the first place was because Japan gave up the territory after their surrender, and the US and USSR couldn't agree on how to give Korea back its independence. Just saying that someone claiming "racism" about war tends to be a strawman argument when there's so much other shit that goes on behind the scenes, and in general it's just tumblr logic. I'd like to see a source about the pilot who says he never felt remorse, though. Not that I don't believe it (because ya know, 'murikans), but fact checking is really important when it comes to stuff that can be regarded as hearsay.

Favorite Smash Bros Wii U / 3DS Newcomer
Lucina is the best newcomer even though she's practically a carbon copy of Marth. I'd say Duck Hunt or Palutena because I really like playing with them, but I also have no clue how to really use them effectively. lol

I finished Bravely Default last night, I reallyyyy recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it.
I loved BD, and really the only problem I had with it was how inconsistent the difficulty curve was. It was like it got randomly harder and easier with no focus, but other than that it was great. Really love the music, and it's a shame that the same person isn't working on the sequel considering that was one of the strongest aspects of the original. Have you tried 4 Heroes of Light yet? It's basically the spiritual prequel to BD, and it's a worth a playthrough if yo...

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - Discussion
Pssh, you guys are all whack. The hammer and switch axe are where it's at, though I haven't really tried the Gunner weapon classes yet. Yeah, I'll probably have to do that eventually. I actually haven't tried the online multiplayer yet, but I'm kind of scared to in case I get with people who are way too MLG for me. lol

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - Discussion
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prcQT5om1dA The game's been out for a while now, so I think it's only appropriate that there should be a thread made just to talk about how great this game is. For those of you that don't know about it, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the 3DS is the latest installment of the long-running Monster Hunter series published by Capcom, where the focus is taking down big monsters and gathering materials to build armor and weapons to take on even larger and more dangerous monsters. So... what's everyone currently working on right now? I'm trying to hunt Rathalos to complete its armor set in the offline campaign, but getting lucky enough for those tail drops is proving to be difficult. ¬_¬

How're you liking Monster Hunter?
Yeah that'd be sweet. My internet latency is pretty bad though, but maybe it won't be that unplayable as long as I'm not the host. lol

How're you liking Monster Hunter?
Yeah, me too. The first one I ever played was the other 3DS one, but this one really makes me feel like I missed out on so much for years. lol What's your favorite weapon class? I've been switching between hammers and the switch axe.

PS4 SALES HIT 20 MILLION UNITS WORLDWIDE
idk, you could probably consider it a victory for capitalism for a game console with no games to be selling so well.
