Simplicity isn't necessarily a bad thing, sometimes the best designs are simple, etc, etc, etc, that's been covered. I don't think they all have to be "bad ass" (or BAD. ASS.) just appealing to look at in their own right. Most Keyblades are based on Disney worlds and depending on which one it is is wouldn't make sense for one to look particularly edgy (no pun intended). Like I wouldn't expect a Keyblade from the Princess and the Frog or Tangled to have the same aesthetic as Oblivion or one of the Ultima Weapons. Besides there's other characteristics to consider like charm or humor. That's what I always liked about Keyblades, with designs your can do so much more than just try and make them as bad ass as possible.

Thanks, I'm mostly trying to figure out how to get the black outline. Since that Riku picture is monochrome using one solid color can make the words hard to see.

Quick question but what's the font most of you are using?

I could have sworn they said they were removing the English voices? With all FMs they have the option of using the English voices (I'm not sure if they even have a Japanese option actually) but for 1.5 I think they said they were removing the English voices for what ever reason.

The short answer to that is "no", one shouldn't have to do such additional homework to understand something like this. I have a love/hate relationship with Nomura's interviews because while insightful much of the information is stuff that could be hinted at better in the games or just out right stated since even Nomura occasionally lays things in front of you. Something like director interviews should be supplementary, something that helps you understand the information already present. The interviews tend to be something the fans have to depend on to understand the story in a way that if you skip out on them it's like missing a chunk of the story. At least some of the information makes it into the games later which helps out.

It's cool to look at. Have you ever tried using Break Time at the most inappropriate places? I have. It's lots of fun.

I think Sora assumed that only the play island was destroyed, since that's where he last was, and not the main land. Hence, him also only being concerned for Kairi and Riku, and none of his other friends either, because they were the only ones on the play island as well.

I can't comment much because I don't know the back story but I'm some how not really bothered by this. It doesn't seem much different to me than having a babies ear's pierced (granted, a tattoo is probably more painful). I don't think babies should have their ears pierced of get tattooed regardless but I think this comes across as more strange because it's uncommon.

Keyblade masters have the ability to remove hearts so if done carefully I'm sure Sora will be fine, they just can't go tearing into Sora all willy-nilly (looks at MX). Ven's heart never had much effect on Sora though, the only thing it did was grant him the dual wielding ability which he may or may not lose. I don't remember Namine's exact words well since I haven't been able to play Re:Coded in a while after I lent it to a friend (who I must hunt down and kill) but I think it was more of a prelude to 3D? Sora was never good with dealing with pain and when something bad happened he'd brush it off with a goofy grin and being gung ho about saving the day but he never learned how to deal with it proper. Because of Ven's heart being inside him (and Roxas and Xion) Sora also now has a slew of painful memories that don't belong to him and that he doesn't know how to deal with. I haven't played 3D (so correct me if I'm wrong) but from what I heard the antagonist tried to manipulate those memories to try and have Sora sink into darkness (e.g. Vanitas appearing because Ven's heart was stirring) and by the end his heart was a bit damaged. So yeah, if not handled properly the memories in Sora's heart can be damaging to him. I don't think it'll be from a direct result of Ven's heart being removed (unless it get brutally torn out), it's more if it gets manipulated while in Sora. Terra is a whole other can of worms, lol.

Since I have terrible allergies I tend to alternate quite a lot.

Seeing as how nearly every protagonist has had a playable part in the story at one point or another I wouldn't be surprised. The next game most likely KH3, where I'd rather play as Sora with Dona and Goofy tbh, but I see more chance of being able to play as them in the next saga. As far as playing with them, Lea I guess would be okay. Kairi? Eh... The latter is not exactly one of my favorite characters. Though between the two I see more chance of playing as Kairi in the future, maybe even getting her own game, since she's one of the oldest and least touched upon protagonists. Not to mention that because of her state compared too everyone else she's most prime to start a new game with. She's currently the weakest fighter and while Nomura tries to come up with something elaborate tricks each game to have a reason for the characters to start at level one, primarily Sora, he doesn't have to worry about that with Kairi. She's simply a novice.

All right, I wasn't sure because I know of a lot people who skip over the journal entries and don't know that Ansem booted her off the RG and the whole "finding the Keyblade experiment". As for the details...Disney Magic? :?
