I'm in a similar situation, my dad has cut off all his relationships on his side of the family, and won't talk to my mom's side of the family either. I don't know the reason, but knowing my dad, I know he's the one that messed it up. And to answer your question: I always say that you should discuss about your problems etc. But that hasn't worked out for me. My dad's relatives have been so offended that they won't even talk to me, my mother or anyone on our family. So I can't really help you on this one. Let's hope that someone else can.

Wow :0 Yeah I didn't like Suzaku either 'till the last episodes of R2. And though Lelouch's death was really sad, I felt that it was the right way to end it. It kinda sucked that Shirley died just when she started to seem like an interesting person, and Euphemias death was tragic too. There were so many great characters in the show; Rolo, Suzaku, Xingke, Ôgi, and especially Jeremiah and Lelouch.

But actually that kinda confirms the propaganda they teach to their children. Yep, and NK had framed a "nuclear power plant accident" and scammed millions of dollars from insurance companies. And all the money went to the Kim Yong-family's personal use. And the family has at least eight villas with a water park and a bowling alley in each of them. So the money definitely does not go anywhere it should.

That is indeed horrible. I've read a book about North Korean labor camps. They teach little children to even hate their own parents, "they are just enemies who eat your food", only trust on North Korean soldiers, you get a reward for turning in your family and friends. And the list goes on.

That is a really hard situation... I agree with the advice everyone has already given you. If your boyfriend is on your side, and he hates what his parents are doing, then it's settled. Don't push yourself and don't try to be nice to his parents. Treat them the same way they treat you. In time, I guess they will grow up and accept the fact that you are "family" now. But what do I, a Finnish brat know about life. Gah...

I have nothing against the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations, I actually love them. The 5th generation's storyline and the game itself was great, but the pokémons were kind of boring, but this is only my opinion of course. New pokémons eh? There's actually nothing wrong with them either, some are good but some make me say: "How does that even make sense?" And for X and Y, let's just say that I have high expectations.
