  1. I played some of that one back in the day... I really don't know why. I got talked into playing some of the older Rabbids games recently, too... I tried to be optimistic but holy crap they're bad.
  2. I've actually been waiting on Sabre so we can finish up the point we had going...
  3. I knew none of the bugs would be fixed. I'll just be sticking to the PS3 versions... Or the originals.
  4. Videos and screenshots don't do it justice, seeing it in person is incredible. The art style's so good.
  5. First off, just because one launch port has framerate issues doesn't mean that every port will be that way. This is just one example, and it's been said the Switch is easy to port to. From what I've heard, ports of Warriors games tend to usually be pretty bad, and this one isn't an exception. As for Breath of the Wild, it runs perfectly fine in handheld mode. The dock upscales it to 900p, which makes framerate issues occur occasionally, but it isn't that bad. Also, cartridges aren't a lesser medium anymore. They have a lot more space than discs do, technology's come a long way since the N64 days.
  6. Breath of the Wild is absolutely deserving of all the hype it's gotten. I can't imagine a better way to send off the Wii U and kick off the Switch.
  7. I'm glad that physical copies of Switch games give reward points now, but... 12 points when a digital copy of the same game would be worth 60? I really don't get why it's so much less for physical copies.
  8. Sarada Sarada stuck close to Boruto as the group proceeded towards the lab. She was a little irritated to see him continue to brag to the others. He just can't miss out on a chance to show off his skills, huh...? She started to stare at him for a little while as they walked. Then again... he's done a lot... I suppose he deserves the attention. She drifted off into thought as she looked at her comrade and friend. Akame Akame walked with the others towards the lab; she stayed near Franky and Rin since she knew them better than the others, although she remained quiet and observed the rest of the group.
  9. "Alright, some real action!" Koukon pounded his left fist against his right palm and smirked. "Don't worry about us, Yumi Sensei and Miss Anko! We'll meet back up with you in no time." Koukon formed a few handseals. "Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" Five fireballs appeared before him and barreled towards the bandits, swirling around and homing in on different enemies to throw them off. Meanwhile, Rizumu used Koukon's distraction to throw shuriken at some of the bandits. She followed up by hanging back and whistling a tune, hoping to place some of the bandits in a genjutsu. They should see themselves stuck in a maze now... Hopefully this will help the others take care of them. Yumi led the charge towards the mansion. "Thanks for the support, Miss Anko. Let's make this quick!"
  10. I had a couple crashes in IFM on top of all that... I might think about getting the PS4 port when it get a price cut if the bugs are fixed, but otherwise, I'm not going to bother.
  11. Pretty sure the point is that the PS3 collections were lazy and buggy ports and that needs to be fixed on PS4. The title wording could be better, but I agree with the OP that the PS3 ports weren't very good.
  12. I've been behind on PlayStation gaming for a long time. Got a PSP a few years after its release, and I got a PS3 just before the PS4 came out. Still don't have a PS4. Also, "getting excited" makes it sound like it isn't out yet. I'm not getting excited, I'm spending all my free time with mine.
  13. Yumi stepped up to speak with the man. "Excuse me, sir. I'm Yumi Uzumaki, a Jonin from Konoha. The Hokage himself has asked you to make more tamasuburo for us. It's a very urgent request. Can you please help us?" "Yeah, it's super important," Koukon chimed in. "You can't turn down a request from someone like the Hokage, right? That would just give you a bad reputa-" Koukon was cut off when Rizumu lightly elbowed his side and then stepped in front of him. "I apologize for my friend's outburst, sir. We would really appreciate it if you would help us with the tamasuburo."
  14. Have you even read the manga? It's expanded on the movie's plot and the most recent chapter was mostly new content. There's also still Scarlet Spring and some other one-offs the anime can draw from.
  15. Every system (Excluding variations like GameBoy Pocket/Wii Mini/DSi) but the NES, although I do own a NES Classic Edition. The list left off the GBC/GBA though. Those were both very different from the original GameBoy
  16. It's one of the highest rated games of all time, almost at the same score as Ocarina of Time. It topped almost every game ever made.
  17. Waiting for the BOTW patch to finish, then it's time to lose myself in Hyrule... for a couple hours since I have class at noon and I should try to be a little responsible. ;_;

I know I'm a little late to this, but I've spent a little time with it and I enjoy it. If you already have VX Ace and just want something to play around in I'd say wait until the sale prices get cheaper, but it's a definite improvement over the past engines.
  19. I can't consider an Action RPG to be a main series FF game. A lot of people seem to think that story is the one thing that defines a series, but there's much more to it than that. Every aspect of a game defines it; gameplay is a major part of a game's identity. Square threw away FF's identity as soon as they shifted to ARPGs (I'd argue even before that but let's not go there right now). This isn't a matter of me not being fond of Action RPGs (Or at least the common "mash X/A/whatever button to attack" ones, which is all Square does), it's a matter of seeing a series I love go through an identity crisis and constantly try to "reinvent" itself. Changing genres isn't a form of natural progression. I think that what The Legend of Zelda is doing is a perfect example of how a series evolves over time. The shift to 3D in Ocarina of Time felt fitting, and Breath of the Wild is making a lot of changes while still keeping the important elements of Zelda intact. Heck, FF even has a good example. The ATB was an incredible way to advance the original turn-based system, and ATB is quite possibly my favorite type of combat system in any game ever. It's strategy-based, but has a sense of immediacy to it as well. The whole change to ARPG is why I'm not interested in FFXV and why I won't be playing the FFVII "Remake." I started FF by playing the older entries, and they gave me a very specific idea of what Final Fantasy is to me. It's something I love, but that idea's been completely tossed out the window in favor of people who think that turn-based is "outdated" even though it's a perfectly fine gameplay style. They've made a lot of changes I don't like, but the shift to ARPG is the thing that really just drove it home that FF isn't what it used to be. On the bright side, Dragon Quest is still going strong with turn-based gameplay. That series hasn't disregarded the fans that made it so big in the first place. Also, for everyone who reads this: please note that it's fine if you disagree with me and I respect your opinion. The only reason I'm so upset over the topic is that FF means a lot to me and the change is really disappointing to me. It's a personal thing, I'm not going to force others to agree.
  20. The manga ending killed the thread off. We've got the Boruto thread for Boruto but that's been pretty inactive; a lot of people seem to think the anime's doing non-canon filler now so most people who were watching before might have dropped, too.
  21. The best part about pre-ordering the Switch/BOTW is that I can just go to the midnight release at midnight and not have to worry about the store running out of stock if I'm in line.
  22. Exploring. I'm going to have a ton of fun just walking around Hyrule and seeing everything there. Just a few more hours until I have my copy in hand!
