Pretty much shows how convoluted this story has gotten. 2.8 really hammered in that point, especially with the scene where mickey's clothes "glittered away" just to maintain continuity.

Clearly you put a lot of work into this...but why post it in a KINGDOM HEARTS forum of all places..

The Kingdom Hearts 2 FM Data battles/lingering will aren't as difficult as everyone makes it out to be. Yes, they are difficult, but the stigma behind them is a result of everyone not thinking about strategy and going headfirst into the battle.

Like Felixx said, I always perceived the whole Roxas Sora exchange back in DDD as Sora getting a glimpse into the emotion and pain that Roxas went though. It would be overzealous to assume that Sora had went through a "memory transfer".

The fights are difficult, but if you learn the fight and don't approach them with a simple "hit them until they die" mindset, you'll find that they aren't the absolute worst. Approach those fights like you would a dark souls one.

I didn't care for Way to Dawn too much, but looking at Riku's new keyblade....it's a rather chunky/clunky design. I know it's meant to look like an actual modern key (imo it actually looks like your average car key *laughs*) and I'm just going to say it here: modern keys in Kingdom Hearts don't look that great. I prefer the more fantastical keyblade designs of the past, to be completely honest.

I started a Kingdom Hearts web/fancomic! I started it about maybe a month ago, but I didn't think to post it here until just now. It takes place in the aftermath of the story so far, so I guess you could say it's an alternative Kingdom Hearts 3 if Roxas were the main character. Honestly when you look at KH2's portrayal of Roxas, KHWiki has a rather spot on portrayal of his personality. But at the same time, it's never good to judge on one's personality based on them in a critical point in their lives when they're going through turbulent tension and change. But that's how Roxas seems to cope. And they're just portraying his 'bad side' as 'aggressive'. Even though he wasn't as much so in 358/2, he certainly does have some bravado (although it is sort of a stretch to say that this is arrogance). Not everyone would act aggressive and that upset if they learn that their existence is meaningless. Some would withdraw and be quiet (which is what xion did) while others might even just do nothing about it. Despite that it isn't his whole personality, neither is it a defining trait, it is true that Roxas does have that component in personality.

So I've discussed this topic a few years ago in another forum but the results were rather inconclusive. Now that we have more info as the years have gone by, I'd like to talk about it again even though it's a sort of dated topic, so sorry if i'm being redundant. I also want to discuss this again since it's been a few years and this is a somewhat newer audience. I was on khwiki and reading Roxas' profile under the Personality section it said these two things: "Unlike other Nobodies, Roxas possesses real emotions, due to his possession of Ventus's heart that stayed with him once he and Sora were separated during Roxas's creation." "Roxas was born with no memories when taken in by the Organization. Hence, he had no information on the simplest topics or objects, making him comparable to a newborn who grows to learn them, and coming off slow and naive due to it, leading a few others, including himself, to refer to him as a "zombie"." I find these two passages rather debatable and outdated, since during the events of DDD, it was declared that nobodies could feel the whole time, although they really were born without hearts they could grow one. So that somewhat debunks the first quote. Also, the other point the first quote was pushing was that the reason Roxas could feel because he had Ventus' heart. This is where the second quote comes in. The agenda I'm pushing is that Roxas was compared to a "zombie" because he couldn't feel anything. Nobodies start without a heart. Of course, Roxas had one: Ven's. But it would be understandable that he wouldn't be able to feel with it since Ventus' heart is broken. Plus consider that if Roxas was feeling with Ven's heart, wouldn't it make sense if he had Ven's personality? But we don't see that happening so it doesn't seem to be the case that Ventus' heart had any direct influence on Roxas' feelings. It would be more plausible to assume that Roxas had developed his own heart by interacting with his friends. plus im a Akurokushi snob so ha

I am SUPER HYPED that this game is coming out to soon! I am definitely preordering it. ....but am i the only one that wishes that this game wasn't so...dark? I mean, I loved 999 and VLR. but to make it so dark as 6 people HAVE to die? The thing I liked about the previous game was that all of the good people didn't HAVE to die and not to mention it allowed the series's quirky humor to shine through despite the dark circumstances. And I think I liked VLR more than 999 even though I liked the 999 characters better. VLR's tone was more lighthearted, meanwhile 999's tone was giving off the feel that it was a sort of horror game, although nothing creepy really happened other than the number 9 man's death. I dunno, 999 felt like there was some oppressive aura going on the ship. plus Junpei is super hot

It most certainly will come out this year. We've got Nomura's promise to take into account here (which he has mostly kept surprisingly). One game every year.

I'm female actually. But, i like a lot of games coming from producers like Axys and Atlus. And those aren't popular at all. Even though they're all excellent producers of JRPGs.

When it comes to anime, of course I always watch with subs rather than dub. Something about the English dubs usually sound really generic and boring to me usually (one could say the exact same thing for japanese dubs with like 90% of the female voice cast sounding like your typical cutesy). Meanwhile, in videogames, I actually think that the english dubs are more authentic and better. Take for example Fire emblem Awakening. I actually like the english dub way better than the Japanese dub since in the japanese dub the voices sound more generic while the english dub sound more unique. (ugh nowi and olivia's japanese voices...). I truly believe that in video games, dubs are done better. Why? I dunno. But it's for that reason that when the Ace Attorney anime comes out, I'm going to watch it with English Dub (that is if they actually dub it)

WHY IS IT THAT ALL OF THE GAMES I LIKE ARE UNDERRATED?

Yes, her death was very sad for me. I liked the feeling of melancholy that hovered throughout Days as a whole also. I dunno, something about it felt...beautiful. I have no idea whatsoever how Nomura is going to pull her revival off, but it's like almost CERTAIN that she will return due to all of this hinting in coded, KH3D, and BBS. Most likely it'll be Nomura Logic Magic.

I'd REALLY REALLY REALLY like to have a general discussion on the overall plot and story of the game. I already know basically everything there is to know, but I want to make sure I've got everything solid in my head before KH3. Not to mention it would be fun to talk to him about the story. Like what his favorite part was, etc. symbolism i dunno Plus, It'd be plenty of fun If we could talk about how he comes up with the story. As a fellow artist, I'd definitely like to talk to Nomura about art in general. Like how he colors, linearts. etc. He's a great artist IMO.

I'm not going to count those cheap PC games for kids like Putt Putt and the magic school bus, etc. lol. Forgive me, my memory is a bit foggy but I think my first video game i ever remember playing was either Pokemon Ruby or Super Smash Bros Melee. But I didn't own them. I just played them sometimes at someone else's house. My first game and console I ever OWNED though, was like when i was 6. It was Nintendo DS Lite. And Brain Age 2. I had asian parents. lol.
