  1. EDIT: I originally wrote a very long response here, but you know what? I think we can agree to disagree on this. Personally I don’t think Roxas vs. Xemnas would have been vital for Roxas’ character arc or the overall story of KH3, but I do agree it’s an interesting idea. Just one that I wasn’t really expecting and thus I’m not disappointed we didn’t get it. To me the most important thing was that Roxas got his reunion with Axel and Xion, and making Roxas run off with Sora to defeat Xemnas would have ruined the moment completely. And having them defeat Xemnas then and there would have ruined the YMX/Xemnas/Ansem fight (that Nomura probably wanted there to set up the stage for the final Xehanort fight). I’m not saying what we got was objectively better, but I liked it and I understand Nomura’s reasoning behind it. But if you feel differently, that’s okay.
  2. As a fellow older member I relate to how difficult it is to come back. I think 2014 was the peak for my activity here, too, and I have a lot of fond memories of kh13 from that time period... I never really had the courage to talk to people or get to know them better, but even then there was this sense of community that I miss... Not that there isn't anymore, but it's just different, and I don't really recognize people anymore. So for a long time I just wasn't very active here, because it just didn't feel the same. I've tried to be more active lately, too. And you know what? I think I'm rediscovering my love for this place. It's different for sure, but if you can move past that, it's still a lovely community. Maybe more quiet, but lately I feel like more members have been active again. Probably because of KH3, but I really hope it stays this way even as we move further from KH3's release. I don't really know what I'm trying to say, but if you decide to become more active here again, welcome back. It's always nice to see older members around, because there aren't that many here anymore. You probably don't remember me, but I remember seeing you around here a lot back then.
  3. I was kinda leaning towards him being MoM, but I still can’t say I was surprised.
  4. I get that you’re salty he didn’t have more screentime, but these things still don’t mean Nomura hates Roxas. Almost all of the things you said are most likely due to the poor pacing, and Nomura having to give attention to way too many characters all at once. Roxas isn’t the only character to get minimal screentime. Terra didn’t have much either, let alone Xion or Namine. The reason he did get so little screentime is because he only came back so late, and it wouldn’t have made sense to bring him back earlier. About Roxas&Xion vs Saix on the other hand... I really liked it tbh? It makes sense Nomura would save all the Xehanorts (including Xemnas, naturally) for Sora, since he IS the main character after all. Sure, Roxas vs Xemnas could have been cool, but having Saix there made sense. Plus, this time Xion was there too and she really deserved a chance to get her payback too lol. Also, Saix wanted to atone for what he did to the Seasalt trio, so it kinda makes sense for his arc, too, that they would be the ones to defeat him. not really the best way to redeem a character if you ask me, but it does make sense even if it’s not the best writing.
  5. I never read for fun anymore, which is sad (high school really killed my motivation for reading)... When I was younger I used to read a lot and lots of different genres, but I especially loved fantasy.
  6. With the worst flu I’ve had in years (&P4 to kill time). In all seriousness though, I didn’t really do anything KH related. Would’ve loved to commemorate it somehow, but I kinda forgot (and you know, flu).
  7. Easily TWEWY. It’s my favorite game ever, so of course I’d pick it.
  8. Not really hoping for anything in particurlar, just intereated to hear anything he has to say about KH.
  9. I usually don't put in the spice packets when I eat instant noodles, is that weird? : D I just find them gross for some reason (too artificial tasting or something?) Occasionally I eat beef flavored ones though, they seem to be pretty much the only ones I can stand (there used to be curry flavored rice noodles I liked, but I can't find them anywhere anymore rip). I usually just put in tofu or egg or something, for flavor. Or soy sauce. I also always drain the water out, even if it's meant to be ramen.
  10. Kh3 outfit. Her kh2 outfit grew on me over time (initially i really didn’t like it), but it’s still my least favorite out of all of her outfits. hmm... oblivion or oathkeeper?
  11. I've only seen a few Marvel movies, and I don't even know which ones count. I kinda liked Doctor Strange?
  12. I have some ideas, but they could all be wrong. : D At first I thought maybe they'll remake Union Cross, since it seems to be pretty relevant to the next saga (could be called Re: Union lmao). But Union Cross doesn't seem to be ending any time soon, so maybe not? Seems a bit weird to have important plot details in a mobile game, although that's nothing new. I would really like to have a proper console version of Union Cross someday, though. I'm actually weirdly invested in the story and the characters, but as a game I just don't enjoy it at all. (Just as a sidenote; now that I'm thinking about it, it could also be something that's not exactly Union Cross, but heavily tied to it. Idk how though.) One thing I'd really like to see is a Xehanort-centric game, where they properly explain his backstory, and what's the deal with Scala and how it connects to the overall lore... but I'm not sure how Nomura would feel about that, since Xehanort saga has already ended. Maybe he just wants to move forward already. Which is a shame, since KH3 left me with SO MANY unanswered questions. But honestly who knows. It's Kingdom Hearts, anything could happen. : DD
  13. I guess it’s a matter of preference, but I think Aqua is a great character. She’s strong, but definitely has her weaknesses, as should any well made character, male or female. Most notably, while she’s willing to go to great lenghts to protect others, this also makes her a bit self-sacrificial which is not always a good thing, and doesn’t always lead to best decisions (she was willing to save terra and cast herself to the realm of darkness even though it was clear there was something terribly wrong with terra). Also, while she’s pretty resistant to darkness, she also very much doesn’t accept it, which makes it pretty understandable she wouldn’t be able to handle it well when it finally got to her. I do kinda hate the ”strong female character” trope though. Personally I think weaknesses are what create an interesting character, so I just think characters that lack major flaws and are too self-reliant are boring. The same goes for male characters, but I rarely see people complain about it when a male character shows signs of weakness. People are free to disagree with me on this, though. And I do agree that overall KH isn’t the best when it comes to female characters. I just think Aqua is among the best characters in the series, overall. As for an Aqua centric game, that’d be awesome. Not sure how well that would fit into the next saga, since I can’t see the Wayfinder trio being too important going forward (apart from Ven). But if it happened, that’d be cool. What we REALLY need is a game with Kairi as the main character, though.
  14. Started with the original KH1, although years after it first came out.
  15. We don't really have a spring break where I live, but if we did, I'd just spend it at home. Probably.
  16. Inside out would be really cool! I also really liked Up, but I’m not sure how it would work as a world... but done right it could be cool? Also, I really don’t care for Cars but... imagine Sora being a car... that would be way too funny to skip.
  17. New story content to explain some stuff and give more screentime to some characters. And new bosses.
  18. ohhhh I completely forgot... remember seeing some art of him on internet when I first joined the fandom (about 10 years aho). A bit nostalgic, in the weirdest way. Kinda cringy too, but sometimes I miss all this cringy stuff from back then, Nowadays fandoms always seem so serious it’s kinda draining. Or maybe I’m just getting older. Probably the latter.
  19. If I can someday afford to buy a Switch and happen to pick this game up, I’d definitely pick Grookey!
  20. I’m generally anti-DLC, but if they really keep it at 1 major DLC pack + free additions, then I’m suprisingly ok with this. Sounds a bit like Final Mix but in DLC format. (just slightly annoyed at the thought that it’s entirely possible they cut some content only to release it later as a DLC... but SE is a business after all, and I’m overly cynical when it comes to things like these)
  21. Caligula Effect Overdose! I was actually interested even when the original version came out, but decided not to get it right away when it got such poor reviews... and then the remake got announced and I decided to just wait for it. Not gonna lie, the biggest reason I got interested in the game was Satomi Tadashi. : P Not expecting this game to be anything like P1&2 though. Even though it seems to share some elements with Persona, but we’ll see...
