  1. I prefer remasters (basically improving all old assets) when I want to play a game I never had a chance to play before.Though remakes can be good. And 2D or 3D remakes? That would be on a case by case basis. I really will accept either for the remake as long as the overall quality of the game is good.
  2. Remember this is by state not by city/town. Some city and towns will follow different trends than the average of the state. And also remember their study was done through Facebook, so only people who use Facebook were counted. At least I live in a place with few nerds and not a nerd hell.
  3. I want to add my opinion to this,I think a break up should be a personal thing. Though if the couple were announcing everything they did, it is almost right to announce a break up just to be consistent. Though if one does announce a break up, they better not announce getting back together with the same person within the first 2 months of the announcement. That being said never break up by announcement, (but announcing a break up is a bit different) it should be a personal thing.I also dislike proposals by announcement. Weather they are "I LOVE YOU! Can we go out?" or "Will you marry me?' I feel they are usually best done 1on1. That way you don't have the other person influenced by those around them.
  4. They could have read it and just didn't give a damn.
  5. While I can't say I agree with the law. But look at it this way, the legal system is heavily based on the teachings of the Qu'Ran. And their motto is "There is no god but God; Muhammad is the messenger of God."So quite possibly they see any attack against the Muslim theology as an attack against the very foundations of their country. Thus it is only a logical conclusion that they would label it at terrorism. Especially if the country doesn't have freedom of speech. If the US didn't have freedom of speech, I wouldn't doubt we would get terrorism charges if we were arguing with the original constitution and the declaration of independence. And why wouldn't the US or many other countries try to oppose that law? Well, Saudi Arabia is still one of the largest exporters of quality oil. So, basically they could force oil prices to skyrocket in your country if you upset them. He is taking the question from the survey the wrong way. (I do agree that it is EXTREMELY POORLY DESIGNED!) In my opinion why the atheists were selected more in it was because they think of atheists as people and rapists as rapists.I wouldn't doubt that it isn't because they think the rapists are better, but because think all that rapists are, are rapists. That's their whole existence is lurking in the shadows waiting to get some unsuspecting female or in "rare" cases males. Basically what I am saying if they asked the question "who is more likely to be a rapists, an atheist or a thief." I'll bet they will pick the atheist more times than not for the simple reason, a thief is thought of as a thief and not as a rapist, yet an atheist is thought of as a human being. I could be wrong with my theory, but if I am right his whole argument against people is flawed. It isn't because they think atheists are evil, but because they think they are people that can do anything. While someone labeled by an action is more likely to be thought of as ONLY doing that action. Like would you think a teenage boy or a teenage programmer is going to work at a grocery store checkout? Both might be likely to take that job if they need/want money, but I am pretty sure most people would pick teenage boy instead of programmer. And again I haven't tested my theory. But it seems to make sense. And honestly his argument is using just as many "facts" as my speculation. Sometimes that guy makes good points, but recently and in the past I just see him raging. Beating a horse dead and beyond, so even if he had a point he hit it so many times it makes me want to cringe. That's all I can think of saying at this time.
  6. I don't think it would necessarily be reincarnation, but I believe that the day a PoH dies is also the day a new PoH is born. Either that, or you better hope the PoH are timeless creatures.
  7. There is the chance something happened and you were classical conditioned.Basically when Pavlov was working in a research lab he was in charge of bringing food to the dogs. And he rang a dinner bell ever time he was coming to give them food. After a while he noticed them salivating at the mere sound of the bell. They were conditioned to associate the noise of the bell with eating. Good news, if it is classical conditioning, eventually it should go extinct by it self, as long as it isn't reinforced. And if it was closer to Pica, it could have its origin of you being low in a nutrient. So, it MAY be possible to counteract it if you get rid of the deficiency.Find web pages like this, and then eat foods that encourage hair/fingernail growth, because those probably would be the nutrients you are lacking if you are needing nutrients from fingernails.http://www.livestrong.com/article/275648-foods-to-help-grow-hair-fingernails/
  8. Ah I just thought it was one of those magical reward abilities, like Cloud handed to Sora. (Sonic Blade) And Sora got it as a prize from the Hades Cup. Anyways in my mind a trinity in the Kingdom hearts games is a circle of 3 close friends, it requires all 3 to be close friends with each other. That's why you can't do it with a random party member. But guess what? Sora already learned the ability of the Trinity limit, and Sora, Riku, and Kairi are close friends. And why couldn't Riku, Sora, and Donald/Goofy do a special trinity limit? Well that's because Riku isn't Donald nor Goofy's friend. It has to be a circle of friends. Also in KH 1, it was only Sora acting to do the trinity limit, he just needed the power of a circle of friends to perform it. Again something that could happen with Kairi and Riku. But it couldn't happen with Kairi and Goofy, or Donald and Riku. Because they aren't all close friends. At least that's my opinion on it.
  9. The correct English pronunciation of the Greek letter chi(x) is kai. THOUGH as I said, that is the correct English pronunciation of a Greek letter. There are places and people that say "key" is correct. (And wikipedia does list the /ki/ as one of the pronunciations which is close to the English "key") Though all I know is that when I found the MODERN Greek pronunciation of the letter it sounded a lot like our English "he".But yes, for most intents and purposes, if you are living in an English speaking country pronounce it kai, since that's what most people using it will know it as. With language it is go with the flow stance, you have to use the correct pronunciation in your setting so that people will understand you. Back on topic there are two significant things that X represents, the X-blade and Xehanort. And all KH games made so far (except for maybe x[chi]) are part of the Xehanort saga. While Xs may still appear after the Xehanort saga, I have a feeling they will be much less prevalent.
  10. It appears my judgement could have been true. Anyways, that situation sucks. I'm sorry for the actions of your former friend.
  11. She could be trying to check to see if you are dead! There are two types of poke wars (or at least in my mind), the type where you are poking a friend every time you feel like it, and then there is the type where you are poking someone back just because you don't want them to have the last word. (so to speak) Now I will never feel safe if a parent or grandparent pokes me.
  12. The paranormal exists. At least it does in people's minds, and that gives it power. Power to change people's thoughts and actions. It doesn't matter if there is truly an objective thing that exists apart from the person, all that matters is that it is effecting the person.Personally I hope there is an objectively true supernatural/paranormal, but at the same time it is scary to imagine. Especially if it doesn't bow to predictability, so we can't prove it one way or another.
  13. At least you care enough to edit them out.
  14. I want the game series to mature not "mature". If it requires a T rating to mature, okay fine. But to have a T rating to be more "mature", nooooo thank you.
  15. It probably will be structured a lot like KH 1/2. Though hopefully the actual worlds won't feel linear.
  16. Well, they figured out a way around that in the Pride Lands in KH2. *moves onto my comments about the idea*Sora would probably be made into either an iguanodon or a lemur. I am just guessing based on Alantica and the Pridelands that he will take on the form of a main character. Also iguanodon's hands might have been able to grasp things. So they could potentially hold the keyblade. (unless if it would go in the mouth.)Though for the Lumur form, the keyblade would probably have to SHRINK. If I was to pick a dinosaur I would like Sora to be, it would probably be some sort of raptor sized predator, just because they are usually portrayed as quick moving and agile. And Sora needs to be both of those. Donald would just be a type of pterosaur, and Goofy would be a styracosaurus. Though overall I don't care for the it, just because how much time would have to be spent on making all the dinosaur forms of Sora, Donald, and Goofy. I would rather them spend that time working on improving other worlds in the game.
  17. This version of the link works.http://higherperspective.com/2014/04/call-zoo-death-heres-exactly-needs-shut.html And yes it is horrible, though I am not sure what can be done about it, since I don't know Indonesia's laws. Also it isn't like Indonesia is going to listen to a petition from out of country from people who probably will never visit Indonesia in their lifetime.
  18. Ah I would have assumed if the lava was boiling it was already too late.
  19. Last time I checked a review for something I was skimming it to see what the game was like, not what score it got. And where is the option of they get higher scores than they should? Anyways, I mostly agree with the scores gamespot and ign gave the games. (even though neither site agreed on a score for a game)
  20. Tigerruss replied to Think Pink's profile comment
It was a fun show. Another season could be good. Though...RIP
  21. I am just glad I don't have to deal with that on a regular basis. (someone that just speaks in slang.)
  22. Correct, it is from the second season, though the first season is just called "Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!" And if you try looking it up on a site that has the English version of the name it will be "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!" for season one, and "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Heart Throb" for season two.
