What Era of Star Wars would you like to see in Kingdom Hearts?
Honestly I'd be down for any of them, but I went with the prequel trilogy since I always felt things were a little more active and exciting back then, plus when I was younger, that was the Star Wars I grew up with and fantasized seeing Sora interact with. Plus, it'd be kind of fun playing the dynamic of Obi-Wan and Anikan against that of Sora and Riku, maybe even have small gag where Sora points out the weird similarities and comparisons between Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts (we've all seen them at this point, lol).

Tetsuya Nomura discusses Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind features with Famitsu
Ah, so much for the idea of a release day trailer for Re:Mind. Likely means we won't be seeing Cloud or Sephiroth in this DLC/update, which makes sense. It's already pretty nice that we're getting Leon and the gang anyway. There's still plenty of FFVII Remake and KH installments to promote each other with over the next decade or so, lol.

[UPDATE] Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind State of Play Trailer released; DLC releasing January 23rd on PlayStation 4 and February 25th for Xbox One, preorders for $29.99 and $39.99 (with concert video)
Those renders look BEAUTIFUL! Although, considering how we got to see a render of Cid without him appearing in the trailer itself, and we don't seem to have any Cloud or Sephiroth renders at all, this is looking to confirm my suspicions that we aren't going to see them in this DLC/Update at all either. Otherwise they would have been included with the renders. I mean I get the logic everyone has that "well since FFVII Remake is coming out soon, there's no way they'd pass up the opportunity to promote it like they did with Advent Children in KH2," and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't suspect that prior to this trailer as well. But let's be honest, seeing as how we don't know to what extent these characters are going to be present in this story (and with the way things are set up already, it feels like they're really only going to be present in the whole "Riku's searching for Sora" storyline), there's a pretty good chance that they wouldn't be around long enough to justify bringing Cloud and Sephiroth's whole mini-arc into the mix. I mean, I really want to see a conclusion to that too, and I thought KH3 would have been the perfect fit for it but early on Nomura clearly made the main plot more of a priority and I can understand that. At the very least we might get to see the conclusion of Leon/Squall's main arc of seeing Radiant Garden be restored and start using his real name again. Cloud's conflict with Sephiroth could always be followed up on more properly in a future installment of KH, and considering how FFVII Remake is going to be a multi-game epic, it's not like they'll ever run out of opportunities to promote it through KH. Assuming that we should expect a new Remake installment every 2-3 years, there's at least a whole decade of opportunity for KH to act as promotion for VII Remake, even if all we get is like 2 KH games minimum. But, who knows? There's always the off chance that they'll reveal a release day trailer that teases Cloud in it or something, so I could be wrong. But again, logistically speaking, I think that train has already left the station.

Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind to receive new trailer and release date announcement in December
Oh man, this late for a trailer? This can only mean that the earliest it will come out will likely be January, unless by some chance they surprise everybody by revealing it's releasing like 2 weeks later or something, but I doubt it. I mean, I can put up with waiting for another month if that's all it is, but I was honestly hoping that I wouldn't have to wait a whole year since release just for DLC. Really REALLY good looking DLC, don't get me wrong, but still, I've seen bigger budget PS4 games that already had their DLC lined up for release just a mere few months after release, half a year at most. They typically had multiple DLC releases too, but I guess you could argue the tradeoff here is that there's enough content for this one-time release to justify that long of a wait. I know it will be worth the wait, but DAMN, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for a month's difference when we've had to put up with such long waits between installments in the past, and likely still will for the future, lol. XD"

Which game had the best version of the Ultima Weapon?
I still voted for KH3 anyway, but I'm kinda disappointed that Birth By Sleep was left out, considering that it also has a unique Ultima design.

KH13's Pre-TGS 2019 Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind Trailer Analysis/Breakdown
I was more interpreting "them" to mean Lingering Will and Terra-Xehanort since it literally would be bad for Terra if either of them died, one being whatever is left of Terra's will and the other being his original body. If they both killed each other off, then Terra would be gone forever, so that seems a little more plausible to me than simply being Ven and Aqua in danger and Terra needing to save them (been there done that). But who knows, it could be that too, I didn't really think of that the first few times I watched.

[UPDATED] New Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind trailer has been released ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2019
OMG, this trailer is killing me! So much hype! AND YES, FINALLY WE GET BOTH OATHKEEPER AND OBLIVION!!! God that feels so satisfying! Just give me the option to play as Kairi somewhere in this thing and I'll be set for life! Also, am I the only one who's confused about why Lingering Will is using the Earthshaker Keyblade instead of the Ends of The Earth Keyblade he's usually depicted as using? I always liked Ends of The Earth better, so I really hope they didn't retcon the original version of that fight scene to swap those models out. Hopefully there's just a story reason for that, like Terra-Xehanort shatters it temporarily like Xemnas did with Lea so Lingering Will just summons Earthshaker to compensate. In any case, oh man, I can't wait to get my hands on this baby! And to think we probably haven't even seen anything from the Secret Episode yet. Or, maybe we have and don't know it yet? Kind of hope not, cause they've been showing off so much from the Limit Cut side of things, so it'd be nice to keep at least the Secret Episode a surprise in terms of what to expect until maybe late fall before they release it. Really hope it ends up getting released in December, cause I want to play and replay this thing as soon as possible. If they're trying to avoid VII Remake's March 2020 window while also releasing it as soon as possible, that doesn't leave them with many options, December or January are the most likely targets, February at the latest. Kind of leaning on December though, since January would make it a whole year after release, which is kind of silly.

Kingdom Hearts III demo to be playable at Gamescom 2019
Seems a bit strange to promote a demo for a game that's been available for about 6 months so far, but I guess there's still plenty of mileage they can get out of it, particularly on an international stage. Plus, they do still have that huge DLC dump to build hype for, so I guess this is a decent way to make KH3 relevant again, even though the aftershocks of it's release can still be felt even now, lol. Other than that, I don't know how much new info we should expect at Gamescon, it's always been one of those coin-toss gaming conventions to me. Half the time we do get something substantial like an interview from Nomura or even a new trailer, but other times we tend to get little more than a few words and maybe one small tidbit of new info. And with the DLC really the only KH-related thing to look forward to for now, when they plan to tease more of it's contents with still 4-ish months left to go is hard to say. Well, hopefully we end up getting something new this month either way.

What Is the Main Selling Point of a Video Game For You?
Gameplay and Story are both pretty big factors for me. Yeah I know a game is supposed to be a game first, but I've always viewed that an ideal game experience is a movie that you have more control over. Like instead of just sitting and watching the action, you're actively participating in it. So the more cinematic and engaging the story is, the fuller of an experience it feels to me. Usually when the gameplay is already pretty solid, a solid story is what I look for. I know some people for whatever reason don't really care why and how they get from level 1 to level 2, but I personally want to feel invested beyond just trying to win. I have more fun when a good story is involved. So while a big story isn't technically needed for a game to exist, it's a big thing I love to see, it's what makes a game LIVE to me.

Oh HO, now it's getting really interesting! If Sephiroth gets his KH outfit too, then it'll be a complete package. The timing of this is a little interesting though. I don't want to get my hopes up TOO high, but on the other hand, I'm still pretty hopeful...you know what I'm talking about... X)"""
