Call me uninformed, but what the HELL is a "waifu"?
DragonMaster replied*sorry forgot to mention* Basically, someone claims a favorite fictional character as their waifu or husbando because they find them attractive/cute/etc.

DragonMaster repliedI'm not sure at all, actually. Some might do it ironically, some might do it because they are attracted to females, some might just use the term because they really like a character. If they're calling MALE character their waifu's, then I just chalk it up to the fact that husbando isn't used nearly as often (or they're joking/being ironic, depending on the context).
