KHII and it's 'Ansem isn't really Ansem, but the apprentice of the real Ansem named Xehanort, whose Heartless took on the name Ansem and his Nobody Xemnas' made things more convoluted than really anything in BBS and DDD, to the point that even the characters get confused to this day. Ventus/Roxas and all of the dream crap doesn't even come close.
