So, I was playing BbS (2.5) and I played through all the characters' stories in standard mode. I didn't complete the journals 100% for each, so I was not expecting to be able to move on to the secret episode. I played through Terra's stroy first and I collected all stickers and all treasure chests. Next Ven also collecting all stickers and treasure chests. Finally, I finished Aqua's story with all stickers and treasures. As expected I was able to move on to the final episode and I defeated the final boss and watched the ending scenes. However, as a big surprise, I was able to start the secret episode, although I have not finished the journals with either character. I haven't fought Vanitas sentiment or Young Xehanort and I only played mirage arena up to Monstro with each character. Yet I was able to start the secret episode and finish the game. Trinity reports show only the story, secret reports and theater sections are complete. As there are so many rumors out there you had to finish all the reports, has anyone else encountered this method of unlocking secret episode? As far as I can tell you can unlock the secret episode in standard mode by: * finish all three characters' stories * collect all treasure chests * collect all stickers (and complete the album) * collect all secret reports and you should be able to move on and finish the game. Hope this helps clear up some mysteries surrounding the requirements for the secret episode.

This sucks. I'm very sorry for the loss of a great artist. In terms of KH, it was expected. I don't want to sound morbid but no series ever has retained its original cast when it's going on for more than 10 years. And given that KHIII takes literally forever, it's sad to say but a missed chance. Mr. Minoy was very sick as of late and if they had skipped all those redundant projects, he could have been in an already completed KHIII. Missed opportunity, but the loss of a great icon should be at the center of this.

It's still incredible how incompetent the team must be. Not even for not being able to complete a game in almost a decade but the lack of a director who sees that their project is just too big. They should have cut content or made this into a movie years ago. They're just wasting resources, imao.

Are you serious? Couldn'T do it. Terra's dodge and block abilities are too slow. But it's way better in 2.5, I haven't reached those bosses yet but on the PSP I couldn'T do it. I'm genuinely surprised Ven isn't more popular...

I never saw the point of having mandatory subtitles in English if the spoken langugae is English. They don't subtitle movies in theaters either.

Ven. I loved his swift attacks and wind-based Magic. Also, his fighting style is closest to that of Roxas' and Sora's and I really enjoyed that. The key blade held backhands was a unique style and I loved the design of his custom key blades. AND: one word: Glide! Also, I loved his story. The last battle against Vanitas was epic and, imho, the storyline in Dwarf Woodlands was really good. It's my favorite world, so I'll go with that. Aqua is a close second. I enjoyed Terra as well but I don't like that he's so slow and doesn't have a decent dodge ability.

Didn't you hear? They said they'd rename KHIII to KHIV and its coming in. 3099 for PlayStation 6. They will release another trailer confirming it's already "in development" at E3 this year. Until then, they will focus on Remaking DDD, which is the new KH3, BbS Volume 2, PS4 and PS5 ports of all the games, a worldwide release of Chi, a new theatrrhythm which will also be significant for KHIV's story and there is still a chance they'll cancel the project if Nomura doesn't succeed to reincarnate 13 times before 3099. Seriously, anyone else thinks they'd be better off outsourcing the development to an American company to speed up process and work on a worldwide release?? (Besides, I think an American company would do a better job implementing the Disney worlds, especially as KHIV is going to be more realistically looking. Some Japanese gestures in KH 1 and 2 were kind of weird for Disney worlds, which are clearly set in a western context)

I'm a 100% positive Bill Farmer confused the HD version of DDD (KH 3D) for KH III.Therefore he said they've been working on it for years.Given how big KHIII has become over the last few years, it wouldn't make ANY sense to go a whole year without even mentioning it and then releasing it out of the blue without any hype-building promotion.Hence, DDD in 2015. PS4 ports in 2016 and maybe ||| in 2017x

I noticed when in limit form Sora is supposed to use his old limits from kh1. However, most of them have been renamed in Limit Form usage. Iconic names that have been kept consistent throughout the series, like Ragnarök have been replaced by new names. Do you think this is a result of mistranslation because the localization team just didn't pay enough attention (despite they did translate it consistently in past installments) or was this change made on purpose because limit form upgrades most of the limits and to show off new strength and powers, the limits received new names?

One person can harbor several hearts but a person as a complete somebody is defined as consisting of 1 own body, one own heart and one soul. Therefore does can harbor several hearts but he still has only one of his own. Hence Lea and axel have only 1 heart. DDD does not a very good job explaining this and it kind of changes the laws a by but I'm referring to the main games and the absence reports. So far, the main games (aka complete stand-Alones are 1, 2 and bbs) all others are spin offs (days, coded, chi) [hence not directly connected to the main story development but focusing on different plot elements or characters) or titles leading up to the next main titles but those are not meant to be regarded as their own titles (com and ddd) com has a nice story but only makes sense as a whole in context of Kh2. So far, ddd is a rushed and underdeveloped game that tries to be a stand-alone but requires a lot of effort in kh3 to make sense of where ddd left off. Piece

Roxas DESERVES to be his own person but he does not yet have his own heart. At least not until he merges with sora. As a person can only hold 1 heart and Roxas already had Ven's... Also, The body left behind BECOMES the nobody. as Yen Sid confirms in KHII, the body turns into a Shell but doesn't stay the exact same. Higher Nobodies only retain the appearance of their former selves. And it doesn'T really matter which heart it is exactly. Fact is, Axel/ LEa can only have one heart (even if both hearts merge) as havinbg Axel's new heart and LEa'S old would make him two persons, namely Lea and Axel. It kind of is a plothole but it doesn't really matter as most org. members are only existent in one form. Xehanort and Sora and Namine make things more difficult.

I could see this comin to theaters:

I loved Atlantica in the first games. In KH2 it was merely for storytelling purposes. I would have loved a more actionpacked gameplay. The music was okay but most new songs suck and are based on Japanese harmonics so it does not go well with the originals. They shoudl have brought in Alan Menken to compose those songs.

While playing through KH 2 Final Mix, I noticed they completely upgraded Jiminy's journal. On the character screens where you see the little character snapshots, they included pictures ofd the most recent renders created for 2.5 Remix. Did anyone else notice?

I didn't have any problems with either. I was stunned by how great the games look in HD and grateful they upgraded them. I didnt care about the loading times as it is a result of the stellar graphics.

They can grow a heart but they still don't exist because they lack a body. If you kill them, they completely disappear unless they are restored as a person when the original heart is released from a heartless before that. Therefore, Lea became axel. Axel's heart was some random heartless that was slain and the heart was released at some point. Axel was born because the shell that is left behind TURNS into a heartless (it's not the real body as a "body" requires a heart and body). Axel develops a heart after connecting with sora and ven (through roxas). Therefore Axel can exist but he stil doesnt, et that? So when Axel as complete as he can become as a nobidy is killed, he completely vanishes! His shell/body fades and his heart dies. Then he is restored as Lea with his original body and heart. I did some research into that as it didnt make any sense otherwise. If Axel kept his heart he would end up having two hearts when he was restored as lea with his original heart. Xion develops a heart as well. Roxas, however, doesn't! Nobodies try to become whole and this includes having a heart. So they can grow a heart but roxas already has one, which is Ven's. Ven's heart is sleeping inside Roxas (which is why they look alike) and he sorta can feel that therefore he does not crave having feelings and a heart like all the other nobodies. The heart is "awakened" by the intense feelings at Xion's death and therefore Roxas can dualwield. That means that Roxas is the only nobody that does not have a heart of his own. This is based on the fact that 1 being can only have one won heart. PEople can harbor other people'S hearts but only temporarily and it stays the other person's heart. When he is reunited with Sora, Roxas and Ven'S heart return to Sora and when Ven is awakened Sora's heart is left as the only one. Therefore, Restoring Axel is useless as he is in fact lea. Restoring Xion could be accomplished if they could recreate her grown heart somehow. But restoring Roxas should be impossible as he is the only true nobidy without a heart. (and they should keep it that way o else they'll lose all credibility on their universe) Namine , I think, does not have a heart because she didnt have a heartless either (Kairi'S heart holds no darkness). Hence, restoring LEa was credible. Xion coming back would be hard but remotely feasible. Roxas and Namine should be just inside Kairi and Sora to keep credibility. MAybe a cutscene appearance but not as an independent person. Ven will return alongside with Terra and Aqua and each character will have ONE heart and therefore exist. In order to kill Xehanort, they need to completely destroy his heart and they'll be good.

Namine ages because herreal body (and heart) does exist and ages as well. (Kairi) Roxas does only a tiny bit because he has Ven's heart and Ven is sleeping and hence not aging. Sora does so it'S a grey zone there.

I think it's a severe and intolerable infringement on personal freedom. They can force the mother to let the daughter decide on her own but not force someone into potentially poisonous therapy! Government has no right to influence her own choice. Even if she decided to refusetreatment and die it's her own choice. For minors it's a different situation but in general it's personal choice and freedom.

A completely original and unique character with no ties to anyone would be cool. Like an ancient keyblade wielder couple frozen and thawed again from before the war.

I just don't get why Disney and Square Enix don't team up for better promoting. If Disney included Kingdom Hearts on their website, and showed spots on Disneychannel, it would be even more popular. Also, releasing the Soundtracks in North America alongside the game in various editions WITHOUT having to rely on the Square Enix store, would be so much easier. It would make more sense if you could get these articles in store and on Amazon, Gamestop and Disneystore. Finally, a release of these Soundtracks on iTunes would be most popular I think. I mean, come on, even Pokemon has better promotion by now - and they are on iTunes! Feels like Disney is going down...
