  1. not too sure but i wish they had kept the idea that the Keyholes were actually a part of the world and not just magical glowing things in the sky.
  2. only if when they open it up you starting winking at them and nudging their arm.
  3. fingers crossed a solution is still in the works for this
  4. personally i'm not really into the live action remakes they've been doing but i could see them doing Lady and the Tramp for some reason.
  5. i think the keyholes were just there for decoration. instead of the usual magical sparkle effects, we got magical keyhole shaped sparkles because the X-Blade is a super key. keyblade. keyhole. bada bing bada boom
  6. it's just a video game. i think some things we're able to let slide because of that. the games never really attempt to explain what exactly the boundaries of a world are because it isn't needed to understand the story or enjoy the game. one could always assume that we're seeing only a small portion of the world and there does exist many more locations than what existed in the original Disney movies they're based on. it's just we're limited to seeing what's only relevant to the Disney films.
  7. you said "good" old days right? i only remember seeing the secret endings uploaded and being titled "KINGDOM HEARTS 3 TRAILER: THE KEYBLADE WAR" also a theory video right before BBS was released that suggested Terra was Apprentice Xehanort. i watched it and was like "whup....hope i didn't just spoil anything." other than that lots of AMVs. some good, some not so good.
  8. same way it worked back when KH2 first released? was it ever established in KH2 that Nobodies look like their somebodies? i know characters in KH2 often said Roxas or Sora looked like each other but i mean...that clearly wasn't true and yet it was still being said. also i don't get the Tidus comment.
  9. i'm not suggesting we drop all the games between KH2 and KH3 and continue on with the current plot line. obviously that would be idiotic and no one would know what was going on. what i'm saying is that if Nomura had continued the series from KH2 by going right to KH3 with a returned Apprentice Xehanort as the main antagonist, we wouldn't have as nearly an overly complicated narrative as we do now. at the very least we would have had a more direct plot line to follow as opposed to this connect the dots mess of a series we have now. Nomura continues to layer plot lines over each other in order to set up KH3, all the while raising more questions than answers. so no, i'm not saying i'd prefer to ignore all the games we've gotten in the lead up KH3 and just play KH3 right away. i'm saying that there are better directions Nomura could have taken the story to set up KH3 and i suggested one. i'm going off the idea that with this alternate story line i suggested, the current games we have post-KH2 aren't relevent, they don't even exist. KH2 would have set up KH3 right away.
  10. so basically they intended for the RC to not always come out, but now that people are being vocal about it they'll try to get it fixed? if it was intentional then why wasn't this a problem on the PS2 releases? who is this information from btw
  11. well to nomura this seemed like the best way to set up KH3, when this was actually a pretty awful way to do it. really we only needed BBS and DDD, and whatever important plot points Days and Re:Coded had could have been inserted into those games or KH3. honestly Nomura had a pretty straightforward set up for KH3 after KH2. in KH2 we learn that Ansem SoD and Xemnas came from Apprentice Xehanort. and we also know that when you kill a person's heartless and nobody, it recreates the original somebody. KH2 wraps up and everything is peachy. but wait. Xehanort is now reformed, keeping in line with the rules of this series, and he's out to see his plans through to the end. now Sora and co. have to stop him once and for all, blah blah blah, you get the idea. totally easy set up there but NOPE. Five and a half games later and we're still building up the plot to KH3. we didn't need to know about Terra, Aqua and Ven, we didn't need to know what Roxas did in the Organization, we didn't need to know why Jiminy's journal was wiped clean (honestly i assumed it was meant to be a representation of how their memories were erased but nope i guess it's just bugged and glitched because that's how paper works), and DDD is just a culmination of all these games so the entirety of that game wasn't needed.
  12. Maleficent could use some luck after being reduced to a non-threat as of late. she probably ought to ditch Pete. he really turned her into a joke because let's be honest...Pete is not a threat. you can't take him seriously.
  13. this is making me slightly more optimistic for the future of this collection. hope they don't just patch a few things here and there then call it a day.
  14. well that's a sonic game alright
  15. at the very least it's needlessly complicated
  16. probably ought to hold off on the celebrations until SE actually comment back on the situation
  17. pluto is a xehanort confirmed i'm gonna say it was a detail nomura had not completely thought out. at the time it probably seemed like a good way to end KH, by leaving the viewers wondering what new lead Sora and co. were about to stumble upon on their journey to find Riku and Mickey. the scene was probably included in CoM for consistency.
  18. thanks for that minor heart attack lol
  19. so what are the worst bugs going on in the collection right now? anything carry over from the original PS3 releases? and would SE even care about remastered remasters? I can understand why they'd patch 2.8 since they're billing it as a new game and as a new game it deserves a certain amount of attention and care to garner positive responses. feels like there's less incentive to patch 1.5 and 2.5 since the people who are interested are fans who will buy them regardless. i remember some people calling the 1.5 and 2.5 collections some of the worst HD remasters which is hilarious. Silent Hill HD Collection currently holds the title for the worst remaster and the KH collections are nowhere near as bad. so is the situation really as dire as some make it out to be?
  20. idk but im sure whatever the reason was it's not good. the confusing titles are just that. confusing. what do we have now. Kingdom Hearts: X, Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X, Kingdom Hearts X: Back Cover, Kingdom Hearts: Union X. i mean is this still the same game or what?
  21. i doubt we'll see anything from TLOU2 outside of maybe another concept trailer. i was under the impression the game had just begun development. and i'd love for a sequel to The Evil Within that fixes the weird issues the first one had and has a stronger story.
  22. i've heard "Mystery Heroes" is a good mode if you want to get a nice sampling of all the characters. outside of the general tips i feel like the best way to become better is to play more often so you become familiar with the controls, and learn to figure out what strategies work and which don't. also consider looking up which characters counter which. might be helpful information to have.
  23. Aqua saving Terra from the Realm of Darkness and then getting herself trapped in there for ten years. classic Aqua
  24. that's great. i came in bracing for the worst but this is awesome news. now we just need to know if the Xemnas final fight glitch has been fixed. and then of course there are the other miscellaneous bugs to stamp out. fingers crossed this collection becomes a huge improvement over the previous versions on PS3.
