  1. I disagree. I believe it is data Sora's own experience/other forces that allowed him to do what he did. You seem to be misinterpreting something here. Any keyblade wielder, with the right influence, has the potential to learn combo skills. However, Sora, the real one, didn't until 3D. Data Sora's experiences on his bug adventure are vastely different than Sora's, thus his abilities are his and his alone. By the way, remember how Data sora is upgraded? That's right, by a circuit board. You are editing his data. He isn't what the data says, and neither is his abilities. He is constantly modified throughout the game.
  2. Sora did not use fire dive in KH1. That is a fact. Thus, Fire dive should not be in the true journal. Thus, it can be determined that these skills are from other origins, either bugs or mickey, or from Data sora himself (as his own person), since it is shown that he obtained a heart of his own. You're wrong. Read above. Anyways, speaking about KH3 specifically, that's not true. Sure the basic magic system will be back, but the game isn't out yet. Sora can use keyblade transformations, which is shown by terra's armour to be an advanced skill combining magic and keyblade! That in and of itself supports the symbolism I believe in. And who knows, maybe there will be combos where if certain moves are chained together, sora can release a mega flare? The game isn't out yet, don't declare a verdict before the witness is even born.
  3. No, is recoded's bugged story what was recorded in the journal? No, it wasn't. The journal was bugged.
  4. Except he wasn't. Mickey made the Keyblade for Data Sora. He gave data Sora the "Power to fight". Mickey and pals programed that power into data Sora.
  5. No, data Sora is technically a different character, the origins of his power are different, and thus he holds no ground on determining how the real sora is. But we already know we disagree. That's not why you made this thread, right? You made it to get the opinions of others.
  6. Think about it, it's quite symbolic actually. In KH1 And KH2, the 2/3 adventures that Sora actually remembers, he can only use one ability at a time. Strike raid. Firaga. However, in the 3rd adventure Sora remembers, when Yensid sends him and Riku back in time and into the sleeping worlds to learn how to use the keyblade from scratch the "correct" way, and attain the mark of mastery, he is ably to use thunder raid, holy, and all those other complex and advanced skills. Just like how the three apprentices from BBS used the keyblade, who were trained from the beginning by real masters, and not just learning by themselves like Sora. Anyways, aside from the Mark of Mastery Test, the only time Sora can use advanced skills is in COM. Sense there must be a reason for this, else final form sora could bust out some raging storms, it must have been the cards that either granted him that power or granted him the knowledge on how to use those skills.
  7. All I read was the title, and I agree. Shhh shhh, don't need to convince me. I already agree. It's ok, it's fine, no need to explain yourself, I agree. *Like*
  8. Because it wasn't a gameplay limitation. They could have easily allowed Sora to unlock stronger skills when in drive forms or maybe post-game. But they didn't. I can see we won't be able to agree. Let's just agree to disagree and leave this post alone since this is faaaar off topic.
  9. No, we're taking abilities literal here, like we've done since the Roxas vs Ventus post. Gameplay mechanics are irreverent here. So, no, KH2 sora had only basic elemental magic. No combos, no improvisation, no advanced manipulation, fire was fire. Blizzard was Blizzard. He couldn't use FIraga burst or mega flare. The only excuse is the cards gave young sora the power or knowledge to use vast skills.
  10. But if level 1 14yo sora would quickly learn these skills (He was also reset in COM), then why wouldn't 15yo sora? It was the cards. Sora's a street fighter, he don't know no professional skills innately.
  11. Why must the "no" options also imply either lack of ability or desires? What if I just don't want to make seasalt icecream? HUH? Maybe I don't want no bittersweet foreboding frosted treats in my mouth. Huh? What then? WHAT THEN?
  12. If that were the case, then it would make absoulutly no sense why he cant use tornado or raging storm in kh2. He can't. Thus, unless you have a better explanation, sora used the power of the cards.
  13. Alice is cute as hell in that recoded movie. Reminded me that she never had any lengthy voiced dialouge in the other games.
  14. While id like to belive that sora will retain his skill knowledge from 3D, thus it should count, com doesnt count. It was the "power of the cards" that granted sora those skills. Plus, he forgot all about the damn thing. So com for sure doesn't count.
  15. High level magic? Any basic skill like thundaga is basic magic. Things like tornado or raging storm are advanced magic, the use the elements in complex ways.Even sora without drive forms is no match for Ven. Sora has yet to learn how to combine magic with keyblade attacks. He still uses the elements seperatly, in their basic forms.
  16. Idk dude, look what they have in their arsenals:Ven: shotlocks, tons of master-level magic and keyblade skills, command styles, powerful finishers, maybe even some d-link action, light beamsRoxas: synch blade, light beams, ........basic magic?
  17. Don't want to really get into this debate, but i'd like to point out something loosely mentioned by others thats kinda getting ignored: Ven is litterally a prince of light. His darkness was bleached off him.
  18. Final fight: Roxas vs VentusSubtitle: There can only be one
  19. Eggplant! From that nintendo icepickers game.
  20. Actually its a "play on words", irony, double meaning. It stands for dream drop distance, while ALSO giving props to the 3DS and the fact that it can be played in 3D.
  21. The answer to everything in chi is that its basically "like reading a story book". The base story is true but characters, worlds, enemies, and everything else is just used to help interpret the baseline story. Basically the developers wanted to go apeshit so they added the "none of this is real" clause.
  22. Well i got my friend to buy kh3D, the thing is he only likes that game because of how the dream eaters are like pokemon, and the idea of fighting with your pokemon is extacy to him Lol.
  23. Kh1 Kairi's heart went to sora for safety, sora sacrifices himself for kairi, sora is totally blushing on the inside when riku gives him the paupo fruit to share with kairi, he likes the idea so much he carves it into a firetrucking rock, kairi brings sora back to life with her pure love of not wanting to leave him. Kairi and sora's sweet and adorable convo when she gives him her lucky charm. Khcom namine needs to become the most imporntant thing to sora, who does she replace? Kairi. Who is the light that brings back everything sora is and all his memories? His memory of kairi. Who does he say his most precious person is? Kairi. Kh2 every disney world has a couple, each one reminds sora of kairi. Donald and goofy even tease him about her. Kairi, despite logically not being able to remember sora, still does. She even jumps into the depths of the unknown to find him. Spra basically offers up his self to saix just to have kairi back. That hug of reunion. The very end when sora finally returns home and gives back the lucky charm. For the love of god, SOKAI IS MEANT TO BE! Quit having confirmation bias with yaoi fantasies or disbelief in sokai!
  24. Aqua all the way. I'm 18 so it's technically illegal for me to "meet" kairi. Plus Aqua is too sexy for that shir-...battle suit? And her english voice actor ?
  25. Being "real" is not absolute, only realitive to the reality you're talking about. So at the very least, relative to the reality of kh13, we are real. And im ok with that.
