Sorry. joking aside, i don't see much plot that can actually happen in this one, it feels like it will be KH2 where they'll stretch the game out before the final battle, as the sides are already getting aligned and ready. Now it's only a matter of how, but the script is already written. so maybe they've just been holding back on plot until around release.

I'm not disappointed but rather want some variety in the trailers, they've shown us nothing but flashy trailers, which is what we've been getting since 2013, it's rather stale to me, and they could present some of the smaller aspects of the game, such exploration in worlds, Character interactions or even mini games. Or even not show anything, why do people want these trailers when the game is still probably two years away? 2 YEARS AWAY

The thing that we should do is, not really want to see anymore new footage of kh3, i say it's both fans and squares fault as they have been showing trailers since it's been on alpha stage which is ridiculous, even if its pre rendered it still takes time out of development to make new promotional stuff when the release was years away and might be now. You have a point, We should only expected 2.8 as now is not the time to be that excited for 3, 2017 is where promotion of kh3 is when it's going to go full force, people should stop expecting a new trailer just to be excited for something that isn't coming next year.
