I saved up for a PS4 the minute i heard it was coming out way back when it was announced in February. Its only 400 dollars+tax. Not really that steep when you look at the other expenses we have like GAS -

He said he would leave FFXV once the project reached a certain stage of completion. Since the demo is coming out next year we can assume that FFXV is almost finished. Square Enix themselves said they don't want to make people wait too long for KH3 so im saying it will come out late 2016

Im not sure if a thread like this one has already been created but if that's the case then i guess it will be merged Anyways, i am sure many of you here have already seen the FFXV TGS 2014 trailer, which is supposed to showcase what the Demo will look like next year. With all the new information we have gotten today from TGS, its possible to speculate on a release date for FFXV. At this point in time, i can conclude that the game is nearly completed; here's why: 1. Tetsuya Nomura has left the project to work on Kingdom Hearts III. He said he would do this when FFXV reached a certain completion state 2. A demo for FFXV will be released alongside Type-0 HD next year in March. A demo almost always means the game is nearly finished (Lightning Returns had a demo then the game released 4 months later) 3. At the end of the TGS trailer, Noctis breaks the 4th wall saying "Almost There", referring to the 8+ year long wait the game has been in development (Announced at E3 2006, has been changed many times since then). This could also mean the game is not that far off as we think it is 4. I believe the game is currently 80%+ finished. They are probably in the debugging phase and are tweaking some things to finish it 5. Based off of these 3 factors, i can assume that the game will release sometime during the Fall of 2015 in JAPAN. English localization means the game will come here in the U.S 3-4 months later, although if English localization is currently being worked on right now, it could also release here in the U.S the same day it releases in Japan I only hope the 8+ year wait is worth it and the game ends up beating the iconic FF7 in terms of sales and score so we can get a remake of 7 lol.

The moment when Noctis says "Its been a long time coming... Almost there" and then the iconic FF theme starts playing sent chills down my spine. I AM SO READY FOR THIS GAME. BRING ON THE DEMO NEXT YEAR!!!!

Remember, to even get the voucher code for the FFXV demo you must purchase Type-0 HD first. This doesn't really make a difference for me since im getting Type-0 HD anyways but its exciting that we are also getting the XV demo included in

Should be asking how far is FFXV into development since KH3's release will come AFTER FFXV. And since SE wont show anything new relating to FFXV at TGS this year its safe to assume they are waaaaay behind in development on FFXV and it wont release until 2016

Just curious what you guys think. Will it be like Destiny and sell a boatload of units? Will people be standing in line at midnight? Will pre-orders be crazy? I think its going to sell really well but not as much as other AAA titles that will release within its timeframe

I'd like to work for their marketing team because i, as a fan, would know when to release information in relation to titles still in development, Ie FFXV. I would let the fans know the status of the game each time i could instead of doing what they are doing right now and keeping us in the dark

My first Kingdom Hearts game was KH1 back in 2003. Then i got KH2 in 2006. Since then i have been a huge fan of the franchise, so for me 10-12 years

KH3 will have a collectors edition. Its too big of a game/franchise not to have one. As for pre-order bonuses, i really dont think its going to be something that significant. Most people just want to play the game they could care less about pre order incentives

No. FFXV will release first but at this rate it looks like it wont even happen until 2016 since they didnt announce it as a title at TGS this year

Makes sense since it was only just announced last year. FFXV on the other hand has been in development for 8+ years now and still not a peep from Square Enix regarding new information

I wasnt surprised when KH3 didnt show up on the list for this years TGS. FFXV DID surprise me though. The game has been in development since 2006. The last trailers they showed for it were at E3 2013. Is it that hard to make a 30sec trailer for FFXV? My bet is that they are super behind in development on it which is why its taking them so long to show new information. Either that or the marketing team is just incompetent

Is FFXV that far behind into development that a 30 second trailer is out of the question? When are we going to get new information about this game? The last trailers we got were at last years E3! Is it that hard to release new information on a game thats been in development since 2006? The marketing team clearly has no clue how to hype up a game. This is just flat out ridiculous

FFXV, which has been in development since 2006 is not even making it into TGS 2014. Square Enix clearly doesn't know how to market a game properly
