theres actually a big difference between 30fps and 60fps and you can notice it right away. Try playing Fallout 4 on PS4 which is locked at 30FPS and then play it on PC where its at 60fps; i guarantee you you'll be able to notice a difference. Just moving the camera along feels sluggish and slow on PS4

I dont think developers should sacrifice FPS in favor of better graphics. There should be a balance. A game will almost always feel better to play at 60FPS compared to 30FPS, especially for ARPG titles like FFXV

If you've played the FFXV platinum demo you have seen that it plays at 30FPS which is just horrendous in my opinion. FFXV is a fast paced action RPG game and the whole time i played the demo it felt like i was bogged down by the 30FPS gameplay; i am not blaming Square Enix or the development team for this, i am blaming sony and Microsoft for choosing low-end hardware on their flagship consoles. FFXV and games like it (KH3) should play at a steady 60FPS in 2016 for a smooth gameplay experience. I understand why the community wants a PC release so bad for FFXV; a 60FPS version would be perfect. I am still buying the game in September when it release because i have been waiting 10 years for it but 30FPS nowadays in an ARPG is just unacceptable. At least sony is making an attempt to rectify this with the release of the PS4.5. I really hope KH3 isn't bogged down by this problem either; just imagine how slow KH3 would feel if it played at 30FPS instead of 60FPS like the previous games

I went to my local gamestop today and pre-ordered the deluxe edition. The person working there said that the midnight release is gonna be huge with long lines and such. I really do hope it sells well because the team deserves it to succeed after all the time and effort they've spent fine tuning it

huge gamble by Square Enix. i hope it pays off. SE still has KH3 to bail them out if FFXV doesn't meet sales expectations

SE has put alot of money and time into making the game happen by itself; now that there's a CGI movie (Kingsglaive) that uses famous expensive actors (Aaron Paul, Lina Heady) and a 5 episode anime series, and the cost of renting out Shrine auditorium for 6000 fans, and the extensive marketing that will be done leading up to September 30th (E3, TGS), FFXV is the most expensive final fantasy to date. I really hope it does sell 10 million units and i believe it will over the course of a few years. What do you guys think? EDIT: There is a potential to sell more units on PC. I believe the game releases on September 30th for each region's own time zone which means regions like JP will probably get to play the game first while the U.S has to wait until 12AM EST

I was there myself and it was amazing sitting through each announcement, especially the movie and anime. Square Enix are really doubling down bigtime on FFXV to succeed and i am very sure it will. Expect to see more gameplay at E3 as the release date comes closer

YES. I have been waiting since the first announcement back in 2006; i remember watching the first trailers when i was 12 yrs old thinking it was gonna release on PS3 in a few years. Boy was i wrong lol; hopefully the wait will be worth it and from what we've seen so far it looks like it will be

I am all for it. The visuals would look even better on max settings and the FPS could go as high as 144 if running a monitor with 144hz refresh rate and decent GPU's

Being a PC/PS4 gamer myself, i expect console games to run at a smooth 60FPS with decent looking visuals. Sure, if i wanted to play a game with max settings and 100+ FPS i could just hop on my PC but for console exclusive titles like KH3 which have alot of action going on, developers should do their best to aim for a stable 60FPS framerate so the gameplay can flow smoothly.

I would think so yes. They are most likely going to use some spells from Final Fantasy and change them around for the ARPG setting; maybe they will even use spells from FFXV lol since thats already an ARPG. I hope they add Full-Life, Death, Surge, Flare, and Megaflare

I hope XV matches/surpasses 7 in bringing in new fans and sales to the franchise. With all the hard work SE/Tabata and the team have put into making FFXV since it got changed from Versus XIII, they deserve for their game to be very successful

Im looking forward to all 3 equally. Yes FFXV is coming out first and yes i like many others have been waiting for it since 2006 but KH3 and FF7 remake also warrant equal amounts of excitement

Tickets are free and registration opens up this friday. I live about 2 hours away so i do plan on attending if i can snag a ticket. Anyone else here going?
