What's a gamergater?

GamerGate was a movement that allegedly started as people advocating for "ethics in gaming" and gaming journalism, but quickly devolved into a front for trolls to harass people (specifically female developers and journalists) and spread toxicity. Anybody who still claims to be affiliated with them can't be taken seriously.

I don't expect Pokemon Switch news until early next year to be honest, as announcing it in December would be too soon after release of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and would ruin holiday sales for the 3DS. They would need to announce Pokemon Switch at just the right time or else it could blow up in the way they want to market their sales.

And I am not this qualified Game Freak member, but I do know a thing or two about sale numbers and I have been a fan since I was 2 of Pokemon, so I know when they normally do a reveal, and so the Switch probably won't come into full play until next year and the announcement will come early next year as well.

Very true; I was thinking that X/Y had been announced in December (since B2/W2 were in October) but now I see that was January, so that's more likely. Winter, at any rate.

And I played on Proud too.

I mean, just killed Guard Armor in about ten seconds, so maybe I'm just adjusting. Playing Proud. Normally Shadows don't give me trouble, but hey, I'll get it eventually =P.

I have that game as well (and really enjoying it) and I'm still going to get Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and Tales of Berseria tomorrow . Boy is my wallet sore from my abuse right now lol.

Haha, I'm waiting on 2.8 to ship, then I'll get started on it. I also have Digimon World: Next Order on the lineup... my wallet understands that pain.

I was interested in Digimon World: Next Order but when I saw the gameplay it looked super repetitive to me. I mean I'm sure the story will be interesting but that gameplay doesn't look as good unlike with Cyber Sleuth which I picked up on release day and enjoyed the crap out of. The story in that game was so good.

All online services nowadays are payed and that includes Ps4,Xbox One,Vita......etc.And we don't know if any mainline Pokemon game would be on the system yet

It's not the equivalent of a handheld, it's a home console that can be brought on the go.

But they're not going to introduce a new handheld. That would just be awful marketing (although I guess who knows with Nintendo...). The whole point of the Switch is unified development, and to ensure there isn't such a disparity in their handheld and console audiences.

(And Vita doesn't require paid online =P)

No, I mean, Playstation is posting it to their official YouTube channel, not making it available to download. So it'll be available to watch on your PS4.

I figure the game will sort of detail the relationship between the bros, I'm just wondering if Kingsglaive will give away anything major. I'll probably watch it while I'm downloading updates and stuff.

Kingslaive won't really give away anything. The game doesn't go into detail about how their relationships were formed

When you get close to the end of Chapter 1 in the game it shows some scenes from Kingsglave and that's it really but the game won't really spoil either and same with them

Probably just means that we'll keep it that way until those story updates with her come around.

With the exception of any Christmas themed changes they make to it in December of course.

Well I think the image they had with Emephr before was before he was in the story for us yet so I'm sure this means she's coming next. I think she will be coming in the next story update because she appears around mission 500 doesn't she?
