  1. Yeah, but he didn't know that. As far as Sora was concerned, he was outright murdering people.
  2. Pete. He's just a big dumb oafish guy trying to do mean things because he's mad at people who he thinks wronged him- each of those things I can absolutely sympathize with.
  3. Purple. That way I don't have to keep butt pounding that stupid fruit machine in Ricco Harbor just to get one stupid durian.
  4. holy shit Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is being ported to Steam as an Early Access game what beautiful madness is this
  5. I would strongly suggest playing Thousand Year Door or the original Paper Mario if you can (Paper Mario is on the Wii and Wii U eShop, TTYD is unfortunately much harder to get) to understand why so many of us want more of that. Both are great, and TTYD is seriously one of the best RPGs ever made. A lot of people- myself included- didn't like Super Paper Mario because it was a complete departure from the pure RPG bliss the first two games were. Platforming is fine and all, but it basically killed a fantastic franchise, and it's yet to recover if it ever will.
  6. Of the Arkham games I've played, City is definitely my favorite. Asylum was good but had some awful and repetitive boss battles, and Origins was a firetrucking trainwreck from beginning to end; City just hit that perfect sweet spot in almost every way. Haven't had the chance to try Knight yet, and I've heard both good and bad things about it, so I'll reserve judgement. Would seriously love to play it soon, though.
  7. Totally agree with KH2FM and Arkham City, and partially Sonic Generations (didn't like a lot of the game, but Modern Rooftop Run is like the best level of any video game ever made). Others for me: Spyro: Year of the Dragon Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time Fallout: New Vegas Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Assassin's Creed: Revelations I'm sure there are also tons of others that I can't remember, but those are the first that come to mind.
  8. Ratchet & Clank PS4 looks amazing, and if the demo is any indication it's going to be my new favorite R&C game.
  9. everyone's a little queer, why can't she be a little straight?
  10. I don't mean to dishearten you, but it's kind of a normal part of the entire human experience.
  11. Why is it considered immature to dislike something that looks bad?
  12. I wouldn't say I'm jumping on any bandwagons. I heard the announcement, got very excited, then saw the footage they presented and was disappointed. It has nothing to do with what other people are saying about the game, and it has everything to do with my own experiences and opinions on the franchise. I doubt I'm the only one with that thought process. Nintendo debuted a game that looks almost identical to the worst-received game in the series and provided no other details on it; people are allowed to be annoyed by that. Hopefully they'll expound more on what the game is going to be like in the future, but until then, all we can react to is what we're given, and what we're given ain't pretty. Also, if you care about story, you should be concerned too- Sticker Star's story was super weak, and there's no indication as of yet that Color Splash is going to be any better.
  13. Sadly, same here. I literally went from "Oh, now I have to get a Wii U" when I heard the news to "NINTENDO WHY" when I watched the video. I'm holding out a (probably vain) hope that maybe the battle system will be improved; that was for me the worst part of Sticker Star and really the only thing keeping me from ever finishing it. They didn't show much, so it's possible they fixed it and made it more traditionally turn based...? I don't know, I just need something the grasp onto here.
  14. "In the Paper Mario series, we always challenge ourselves to bring something fresh to the action-adventure genre." Do you think anyone at Nintendo even remembers that Paper Mario used to be an RPG series? Honestly, did they not listen to any of the complaints from Sticker Star? It literally just looks like an HD version of the same game. I'm trying to hold off judgement until we get some more actual gameplay footage, but Jesus firetrucking Christ, man, they are so going in the wrong direction.
  15. Wei Shen from Sleeping Dogs. He can go undercover in the True Org. XIII and get into a kung fu fight with Xehanort.
  16. I really liked The Walking Dead Season 2 as well, I don't understand where all the hate comes from for it. It's at least as good as Season 1. Honestly, I've never played a Telltale Game I didn't like. All of TWD so far has been good, The Wolf Among Us was badass, Minecraft: Story Mode has been really strong and I'm really looking forward to the ending. I guess if I were to pick a favorite, it'd have to be one of the Sam & Max games they did a while back, especially Season 3. That whole series is full of great writing and puzzle solving, probably my favorite point-and-clicks by far.
  17. Generally games that don't function correctly on launch are what I consider unfinished. Assassin's Creed Unity is a perfect recent example- that game was a mess of glitches and poor server connections when it was released, and had to be patched to hell just to function. If a game isn't functioning marginally well on release, then it's safe to say that there wasn't enough QA testing done before launch and the time should have been made to make sure the game works, even if it means delays.
  18. They already have the perfect bromance. The only thing left for them to do is firetruck, and this is an E 10+ series.
  19. They're awesome, probably my favorite Sony exclusive series. A Crack In Time and Into The Nexus are some of the greatest games ever made for the PS3, if you ask me. I would definitely be wary of the older games, though. The HD collection is still good, but they're really starting to show their age, especially the first one. I just platinumed R&C1, and man, thank god it's getting a remake; it's very basic compared to the later games in terms of weapons and level design, and it's way more difficult than any other game in the series, partly due to how not-quite-good the controls are. It's still fun and creative and I love it, but it's the first of a new IP from 2002- it's gonna have some rough edges.
  20. The ending of The Walking Dead Season 1, because that game is designed to break your heart. (Also one of the endings of Season 2 made me choke up a bit, though not to the same level as season 1.) I agree with you on 3; people like to give AC3 a lot of shit, but it had one of the better stories out of all the AC games. I'm admittedly a sucker for dad stories, so the relationship between Achilles and Connor and the parallels between Haytham and Charles Lee hit me right my feel bone. The optional scene where Connor is talking to Achilles' grave is one of the most somber in the series for me.
  21. Yeah, sure. They've always been in the series in some way or another, it'd be a shame to see them disappear. Personally, I hate shit like the Command Board and Flick Rush that are basically external to the game proper and have their own sets of complicated rules. When the minigames are small side missions actually integrated into the game worlds like 100 Acre Wood and KH2 Atlantica or things like Gummi Ships and Dive Mode it works a lot better for me. They're minigames, they're not supposed to be big complex things on their own.
  22. You must have an astounding amount of faith in Ubisoft to be able and willing to pull off an unnecessarily complex plan like that. Watch Dogs cost somewhere around $68 million to make; that's a lot of money to sink just to lose a lot of reputation and then presumably more millions of dollars in a sequel. Not really seeing how that is supposed to "make bank". Personally, I'm hoping for an Assassin's Creed situation: the first AC game was clunky and weird, so they reworked it and made it better in every way, and then Assassin's Creed 2 comes along and it's a good game in it's own right, not just compared to the first one. All Watch Dogs 2 needs to do is improve everything (and hopefully drop Aiden Pearce like they did Altair).
  23. Because I'm so original, Twilight Town. Dusk is my favorite time of day, so living in a place that's perpetually evening time sounds like a dream come true. Plus, I can earn hundreds of dollars just by grinding rails on one of the community skateboards and throwing letters at birds. That's an economy we can all believe in.
  24. It's even funnier when you're a HUGE nerd like me and you know that in the EU Mace Windu's apprentice was driven mad by the dark side and ended up trying to murder thousands of people. BUT OH KEEP TALKING ABOUT WHAT A GREAT MASTER SHE WAS MACE
