Pizza and all "flat bread" tipe of dishes were from the mediterranean countries, but during the time the Panis Focacius was a thing, Spain was conqered by the Visigoths, a german barbarian tribe. They may not have pizza but they did have beautiful jewelery.

Italian* Pizza came from Panis Focacius, created by the the Romans, wich was a flat piece of bread with different toppings. Although France, Greece and even oriental countries had their own version of pizza.
