I never thought of Kanto and the Red battle as post game. Sure it happens after becoming champion but it's a crucial part of the story and like the Delta Episode, it isn't truly post game since it's essentially part of the main plot.

Gen 2's Post game wasn't all that great really...Unless you're talking about HeartGold and SoulSilver, then yes, these games had an amazing post game. And yeah, I hope Sun and Moon doesn't get the Gen 6 treatment when it comes to post game.

Really? Personally Gen 5 is my most favorite and it has some really amazing and memorable Pokemon, not to mention a better story and best post game with B2/W2.
