  1. Um. Those look. Well. But KH merchandise is always a plus and if it sells it may mean better merchandise afterwards, so if there are people who think these don't look awful, feel free to buy.
  2. It seems very easy for everyone to see the Master of Masters as the obvious traitor, who did it all for no other reason than to see the world burn. While that's an understandable conclusion, I thought I'd discuss another possibility. The Master of Masters is just as much a victim of Destiny as the Foretellers and Luxu are. By which I mean, the Master of Masters is able to see the future, and when he gives Luxu his role, he says that the only reason he can do it is because Luxu successfully passed no name down. He ALSO says that Luxu can't have a copy of the Book of Prophecies because due to his role, he might end up causing a paradox. I mean, the Foretellers are all gonna die, that's foreseen, so them knowing the future doesn't matter because they can't change it and them having the Books WAS in the Book. But because Luxu has no such clause, him knowing the future would mean he could change it, causing a paradox. I mean, if the Book says something, and Luxu sees it and changes things, then the Book, which can be written by the MoM knowing the future, would automatically change what was written for what REALLY went down, but then Luxu would never have seen what caused him to change the future in the first place. The MoM is basically in that situation. One day, he wakes up being able to see the future, and he knows that is only possible because of his own future actions, and he writes a Book that tells him of a bad future. But by then it's too late to change it, because if things went differently he would never have seen that result in the first place. Meaning the MoM's only option is making sure everything goes exactly as the Book said, because it's now the only possible future. So, you know, he's a victim of Destiny, and Destiny is never left to chance.
  3. The moment Sora reads Kairi's letter and the door to the light opens is a Favorite. But also "it's my lucky charm. Be sure to bring it back to me".
  4. People tend to overreact to the Days/KH2 thing, honestly. Days is a prequel, but it focuses more on being it's own thing, and KH2's handling of the Organization is a failure regardless of whether or not you play Days first (though KH2FM did try to fix it by adding more Org cutscenes, and it didn't do a bad job). It's not anywhere as bad as doing DDD before BBS, or Days before CoM. And I wouldn't say KH2 was RUINED FOREVER to me just because I did Days first. KH2 IS my favorite game of the series, even if I only played through it once.
  5. Oh, wow, does this confirm that Days is meant to be done before KH2? I played Days first and I feel like it heightened my enjoyment of the prologue of KH2, but a lot of people feel it isn't the same without a sense of mystery, so.
  6. He will look as people and himself remember him, so he'll keep the same appearance. Naminé and Roxas talk about it in the end of KH2 "you see yourself like I remember you, and I see myself the way you remember me". Appearance is directly tied to the heart (why Roxas looks like Ven is exactly that, after all), so Roxas' heart, because it was grown after Roxas already had a fixed appearance, remembers himself looking like Ven. So what counts is what your own heart, and other people's hearts, see you as. Xion is actually harder to say. She sees herself the same way her best friends see her. But Roxas HAS seen her as Sora, and no one else (well, besides Riku and Naminé) saw black-haired Kairi. That will probably take precedence because the people who truly knew her saw her as that tho, which is why she looks like usual when Riku sees her in Sora's heart.
  7. Not all Nobodies are born in Twilight Town. They are born in in-between worlds like Twilight Town and Castle Oblivion. Naminé being born in CO might not be a coincidence, but it's not like her place of birth was unusual.
  8. Travis Willingham, probably, though Ray Chase's a close second. While everyone had some poor delivered lines, most of the perfomances were quite solid, but those two were the most impressive to me.
  9. A month at most. Re:coded's right after KH2, since Jiminy is looking at his journals for the first time since KH2, I'd imagine it's as soon as he gets a chance. Then Yen Sid asks Mickey to call Sora and Riku with urgency for the Mark, so again DDD is pretty soon after KH2. And while Sora is away for long enough he misses Riku and Kairi, I don't think he spent more than a day visiting his Dream Eaters. And Ansem the Wise tells Aqua it's been at least a year since be MET Sora, and as he says his heart was clouded with vengeance and that was not the case anymore in TWTNW, he has to be talking about when Sora was asleep right after CoM. So putting the end of CoM at not too long after Roxas is born, and accounting for the time that passes throughout KH2, you get "at least a year now".
  10. Kairi not being a default option's weird, but I'll go with Ansem SoD. Just really like his design when compared to most other KH characters. I gotta also agree with the two most popular options in the poll tho, complete RAX instead of only doing multiple Roxas ones.
  11. Mickey's not from the CoM. Donald, Goofy and Minnie were. Then he took them from their world to his. Donald and Goofy were never treated as being from Timeless River in KH2, they didn't even recognize the place, and no one recognized them either. Pete... I tend to see as another Pete, honestly. Like, it's not really supposed to be the same guy, because TR!Pete wasn't evil, he was just petty and selfish, he only BECAME evil after Maleficent saved him. And I would guess this is after Mickey met Yen Sid somehow? Yen Sid's not from Mickey's world, so Mickey got to train under him somehow. Yen Sid probably sent Mickey there by magic. Maybe Yen Sid has already given Mickey the Bequeathing, but Mickey wasn't ready for wielding the Keyblade yet.
  12. Well, this is a poor selection of medals. Might have been better to make a vote on which medals the fanbase would like to get. But as always, nice to see KH merch, even if Japan only.
  13. Well, I'm curious to see if it changes my usual trend of having the first movie of a SW trilogy as my favorite in that trilogy, but I'm not too sure what to expect. Setting the movie right after TFA instead of doing a time jump was a REALLY interesting choice, however, and I'm very excited about that change of pace (I think I actually prefer it. I feel like a lot of character development was lost in the previous ones by the long time jump. Though TCW fixed it between AotC and RotS, and the addition of Ahsoka really drove Anakin's character arc in RotS home. I still think RotS sucks, because it treats every character that isn't Anakin, Bail and Palpatine really badly, writing-wise, but TCW did make me include Anakin in that list).
  14. I'm not talking new art. I knew there wouldn't be new art. I literally said that. I'm talking about the fact that the two covers together on a black background with barely anything on it (yeah, KH emblems. Not really much) looks lazy. What I'm saying is that there were ways to have both boxarts in the same cover without looking this awkward.
  15. Oh, that is symbolism alright. Symbolism of laziness. I knew there wouldn't be new art, but this just looks lazy. There are a lot of collections that show multiple past covers that don't look half as lazy as this.
  16. According to the Xehanort reports, all Keyblade Masters can remove hearts: It's possible that Xehanort's Keyblade in particular can do other things due to being the most ancient known Keyblade around, but a Keyblade of Heart is made of people's hearts. More especifically, the Princesses of Heart. Xehanort also discusses that:
  17. Not the first time The Other Promise plays over something Roxas isn't really involved in (Axel and Xion's fight towards the end of Days), so I wouldn't really read much into it. The credits of Chi used an Organization battle theme, can't remember which one, so I guess it just fits the mood or whatever.
  18. I was into KH before DDD came out, and when I got back into it last year, Nintendo wasn't available in my country anymore, so couldn't get 3DS+3D. And I find it a waste to get a ps4 for 2.8 when I can play 3 in the Xbox One I already have.
  19. Donald's the one I'd get. Like, ever since those were announced I thought of Donald, but I'd also consider Mickey. Donald looks better tho. Pop funko always ends up ridiculously expensive in my country tho, so that's not gonna happen anyway.
  20. DDD's the only one I never played and THAT isn't happening any time soon.
  21. The second game was a Nintendo exclusive for 3 years. Days is technically still a Nintendo exclusive, as is the definitive version of coded (the cutscene movies don't really count as games. No gameplay). The idea that KH SHOULD be on PlayStation only makes no sense to me.
  22. ...I don't wanna have to buy a ps4 when I already have a Xbox One available for use, come on. Please let this be a mistake like last time.
  23. This season has the Mandalore thing, thr Lothal attack and the Kenobi-Maul stuff to go through. I'd expect Scarif next season, honestly. Also, Trials of the Darksaber is one of the best things I have ever watched. What a masterpiece of storytelling.
  24. "dramatically dissolving into mist" is now my favorite way to describe death in a series.
