  1. Nice drawing! It looks like Aqua is sailing through the water gracefully. It'll be great to finally pull her out of purgatory where she can then proceed to beat up a old man. Aqua's a cool character. It'll be great to see what future has in store for this Keyblade Master. Hopefully good things.
  2. I wish I knew about Magnet sooner. I didn't start using it until the Hades Cup where it was near required. Now I use it regularly when leveling up Wisdom Form. Reflect was a good replacement once you get the timing down and it fits KH2's gameplay. Still KH1's Aero is tough to top. Sometimes you could just stand around and let the Aero shield kill weak enemies if it was strong enough and they were weak enough. It's quite funny to see.
  3. Day 27, favorite gameplay in Kingdom Hearts. For me, that would be Kingdom Hearts 2 and even Kingdom Hearts 1. I know some people think the combat in KH1 isn't that great, but I've always enjoyed it. One of my favorite things to do is finish off Cloud in the Coliseum with a Fire spell attack. Can't do that in KH2, because that last bar of life seems to only be taken out by a combo. Still KH2 and KH1 are my favorite gameplay games.
  4. KH1 Aero magic was amazing. Especially against super bosses and crowd control, for that extra bit of damage. Next to Cure it was my favorite spell in KH1. Don't know about COM but in Days I barely used it, only use for it I found was against one of the later bosses. Aero kinda is in Kingdom Hearts 2, it's just you can't use it. No, it's being used by Xaldin. His wind guard thing acts basically like Aeroga in KH1. It can repel you and hit you back if you just simply jump at him. It will also hurt you if he touches you with it, just like Aeroga in KH1. Such a troll move to put a version of it in the game but not allow you to use it yourself.
  5. It didn't feel last minute to me, as the world felt finished enough. However it is one of the more 'filler' worlds of KHI I suppose. Nothing involving Maleficent's plan happens there. No Riku or Kairi sighting or clue, and nothing to further along the lore either. Even Atlantica did that with the Keyblade and Keyhole talk. I give it credit for not just following the movie plot though. Ironically KH2 did follow the moive plot a bit more, but also added context of Santa mentioning Riku, and Sore imagining himself dancing with Kairi.
  6. I can agree with this. I could not get past COM's card system so I had to watch it in movie format. But I wasn't disappointed because I found it good. 358 feels more character driven then story driven even. The main plot isn't even world threatening or anything, it's a at home problem. It's only important because of the characters connected to it. It's a solid change of pace.
  7. I really wish Organization XIII had a gag reel. One of them could have been Seasalt Trio trying to convert every member onto the clock tower with ice cream. It would have been priceless. Especially for characters like Saix, Larxene, Xaldin, and Xemnas. I can already hear Larxene screaming that it taste like butt XD
  8. Well said. Hearts do mean much more then just the organ that pumps blood in KH. I believe it's been said that anyone can grow a heart in KH. Yeah, the power of ice cream and that clock tower. They also interacted with the world more then the others did, but in a more curious kind of way more then just using the world for their own benefits like Xaldin and Xigbar do. Roxas, Axel, and Xion all rubbed off on each other so it's clear to see how they grew hearts. It makes me curious if they could have befriended all the Organization members could they all have grown hearts purely? Could you imagine Larxene eating a bar of ice cream?
  9. Riku is a true bro! In Kingdom Hearts 1 he was a good rival turned enemy, and I loved to loathe him. Not to mention beating him up on the island to gain 99 potions was a delight. But since then Riku has gone through a massive evolution as a character. From a rival to a villain to a anti-hero to one of the best bros in the series. Riku is an amazing character. One of my all time favorites and I can't wait to see this Keyblade Master continue to impress in KH3. Also my sister has a video game crush on him.
  10. No he hasn't, but like you said, it feels like he will. It just doesn't feel like Xigbar is on Xehanorts side. It feels like he's on his own side and it just happens to go along with what Xehanort wants and if it doesn't benefit him anymore, he'll do his own thing. I guess KH3 will show us the real Xigbar/Braig.
  11. Xigbar's kinda the anti-Axel. He's on his own side and his connections to others, but unlike Axel, it feels like he'll backstab them at any moment to get what he wants. Other then Kairi and Namine, Xigbar has had personal interactions with every main character in Kingdom Hearts. He's just as involved as Xehanort at this point. So I could see him being used again in the future. Even to the point of him forming a temporary truce with Sora and friends then backstab them later.
  12. That's true, but if that is the case, they are the worlds greatest actors. Demyx, Luxord, Larxene, Zexion, and Vexen all had strong emotions when they died. It's difficult to say those guys all had hearts, but because of their "remembering" and putting on these acts it made it easier for me, at least, to believe that Nobodies can feel real emotions.
  13. Saix did emote vague jealousy quite well. That and all his defeat quotes. The only way you can really sell it if someone doesn't have a heart is if they are lifeless or just emotionless through everything. So mainly Xemnas, and newborns Roxas and Xion.
  14. They didn't handle it the reveal the best way, but they kinda have been showing them with real emotions. Most of the Organization reacted to their deaths, and Roxas clearly had emotions in every game he's been in. So had Namine. But yeah, some of them seem really smart and should know they could re-grow hearts. Vexen and Zexion come to mind as they were both very smart. Maybe Xemnas knew that, and tricked Saix into targeting them to rise up in ranks? They were on Axel's hit list, right? Or maybe I'm giving this plot point too much credit LOL. Edit: Actually the Xemnas part doesn't add up. He said Vexen's death was unexpected and it halted the Replica Program. My bad.
  15. I remember awhile ago when DDD first came out, some people thought Saix was in on it, given his comment to Xemnas in KHII before his boss fight. But it never added up because his death lines imply he's still looking for his heart, really bringing sympathy for his character. So I always believed Saix was being lied to like most of the others. It'll be interesting to see if Marluxia, Larxene, and Vexen know anything about it.
  16. Day 26, favorite Kingdom Hearts game for it's story? It's story? That's every game I've played thus far. This is a unfair question! I mainly play for the characters anyway! But if I must give a answer it would probably go like this for story. 1. Kingdom Hearts 1 2. 358/2 Feels 3. Birth By Sleep 4. Chain of Memories 5. Kingdom Hearts 2 6. Dream Drop Distance 7. ReCoded I haven't fully watched 0.2 yet, so I can't place it anywhere.
  17. I always figured she was adopted there. It was mentioned in KHI by Riku wasn't it? On another topic about Axel and Saix, it's interesting that despite being the second in command, Saix doesn't seem to know about Nobodies being able to grow their own hearts back. Seems only Xemnas and Xigbar know this little fact. Because it's not even in Ansem's reports about the Nobodies either. While it might be obvious, could this be how Xemnas keeps Saix in check and why he gave up on whatever it is he was planning before?
  18. Nomura did say the ending would be hard to accept didn't he? But wow, if there is shipping in the ending besides the obvious Sora/Kairi one I'm ready. I'm betting it's Zexion and Lexaeus finally coming out of the closet, eh? XD
  19. Ahhh Goofy! He was the brains of the group in KH2. Making the most sense and being the voice of reason among the silliness of Sora and Donald being Donald. Goofy is awesome. He doesn't waste the items I give him as much as Donald does. In KH2 he was very useful in boss fights because he's my living battery for Valor Form LOL. It'll be great to have him back for KH3
  20. This has been such a long journey. My older sister got me into Kingdom Hearts back in 2007, and the rest is history. Now it's my turn to get her back up to speed on all the things that have happened since so she's ready for KHIII. I've had such good moments in the series. I've laughed at the silliness. I've cried and nearly got tears on my DS. This series and these characters just mean so much to me. I can't wait to see the gang all back for another adventure. No matter how convoluted or crazy the story got it never drove me away, it just left me wanting more. There are so many things I want to see in Kingdom Hearts 3. Sora meeting Ventus! Ventus meeting Roxas! Trio reunions! Everybody confusing Xion for somebody else when they first see her. All the Soras in one room. Kairi destroying a boss. Terra regaining his body. Namine in general.
  21. Originally I was going with Standard, but I'm going to make myself suffer and play on Proud Mode. It'll be easier to unlock the secret ending that way, and I'm a master at level grinding so naturally when first playing on Proud Mode, I'm usually 5 or even 10 levels above the required level amount LOL.
  22. The high scores are a good sign. All in the 8's and 9's. I'm too afraid to read any of those reviews myself though. I'm sure they don't have spoilers but I'm just playing it safe. We're so close. Still the number scores are reassuring.
  23. Maybe it's Maleficent? Okay even I can't say that with a straight face. Of the Seekers I could see Xigbar surviving, while not being the big bad himself, I could see him possibly being his own faction and forming temporary alliances with anyone so long as it benefits him. Xigbar just seems like a character that could stick around, but never being the major focus himself.
  24. When it comes to KHUX, I think I'll just watch everyone else play and get my lore from them on that half. I'm not really into mobile games. It is a mobile game isn't it? Anyway, I main ignored it going into KH3 because I didn't think the Foretellers would be in the game, unless they were secret bosses or something. I was mainly focusing on Sora and the people that Recoded confirmed to be in KH3. The Foretellers story was interesting at least in the movie I watched. And MoM was charismatic enough for me to want to learn more about him so I'll welcome him if he's the next big boss for KH4.
