ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY IMITATE VEEMON. (Could make hundreds of these if I felt like it.
)WakingDawn96 repliedBut one does change the Exveemon name to make something even better out of it, hence that I am still here!
WakingDawn96 repliedNo I didn't. On here, maybe, but I use Xeveemon as my media name which means I use it when I want to be creative, like with YouTube videos and such. I think I upgraded the name to suit a media title which is way better than using it for common day use.

So then, today is the first day of March, and so Deadpool's takeover of my account is over! Now I, The Transcendent Key, have returned!
WakingDawn96 repliedBOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Deadpool was a good friend of mine, now I have one less friend. That's sad, very sad.
The Transcendent Key repliedAw, don't be sad! It's not like he's gone forever! He could appear again from time to time, but I don't know, that guy's unpredictable!
WakingDawn96 repliedWell good, I hope to see him again. I didn't think I would like him at first, but he grew into being someone who could always make me smile. But hey, at least you got to come back on here.
The Transcendent Key replied*Deadpool peeks his head out.* Aw, you really came to like me, huh? Aw, shucks, you don't have to worry, bud! You'll always be good ol' Deadpool's friend! Here, have a taco! *Gives you a taco.*
WakingDawn96 replied*transforms the taco into a hamburger pattie* Thanks Deadpool, see you around I guess.

I'm really suprised that the xillia games haven't gotten an anime yet. I really hope that the company that makes the tales of games considers this

So I've been on a bit of an Awakening rush lately, and I find out that Ricken in the game is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. So that's cool.
Shard the Gentleman repliedRicken and Henry are my favorite support characters
I love them mages!Pangoro "Sen" repliedOh my god, Henry. He is quite possibly my favorite thing about Awakening.
Pangoro "Sen" replied@Shard Heh, same here! He has so many good lines!
@Shulk What was the reference thingie?
Shulk repliedYuri Lowenthall voices Ricken, while Lissa is voiced by Kate Higgins. I had them marry each other. Those two voice actors also play the roles of Sasuke and Sakura in Naruto... That worked out too well. ._.
Also, going to join in on the whole "Henry is amazing" thing, too. He's one of my favorite characters.
Shard the Gentleman repliedWait wait wait.
Okay so Awakening was my first FE game, so I don't know how things work. You can marry other characters to more than one person? I had Lissa with... wow I can't remember his name. The knight Dude with the S name... Stark?
Shard the Gentleman repliedAh, that's cool. I'm new to Fire Emblem, but I was really looking forward to Fates (although I hear localisation took quite a toll on the game)
Shulk repliedAwakening was my first, too.

People have been exaggerating censorship and stuff like that a lot with recent Nintendo games. All that I've noticed is gone are a few swimsuits, and they altered one of the minigames. I know that a couple support conversations were changed, but it's nothing all that major in my opinion. I've been having a lot of fun with Fates so far.
Shard the Gentleman repliedI don't really know all that much about it. I know that one conversation was completely replaced with nothing but (...)'s but that's it. I may get Revelations when it comes out.
Shulk repliedFrom what I've seen, the "..." conversation is pretty much the worst change. I only have Birthright, so I wouldn't know for sure, but it doesn't feel like anything's missing.
Revelations is actually DLC-only if I remember correctly, so you'd need to pick up either Birthright or Conquest if you want to play Revelations as well. If you're new to the series, Birthright's a good option. It's more similar to Awakening in terms of progression and d...
Shard the Gentleman repliedMmm, alright. I'll probably get it. Also, I just read all the changes... honestly... nothing bad was changed. There was a situation with a girl who was attracted to other girls getting diatracted, but that was kept, just modified t he solution.
Shulk repliedYeah, that's the one that caused a lot of controversy since a lot of people took the initial mention of the alterations as meaning that the scene would be removed entirely. Everything that was changed has been pretty minor, but it seems like a lot of people overreact when Nintendo makes these changes in the localization process. People were boycotting the new Xenoblade because the Western version wouldn't let players change a female avatar's bust size.
Shard the Gentleman repliedLet me rephrase that. The girl was drugged and the method was used as a gay conversion therapy in the Japanese version, but they removed THAT part and changed it to just a simple pretend om a girl situation.
Shulk repliedReading over the support logs, it didn't come off as gay conversion therapy to me. She just fell in love with the female avatar and those feelings carried over when she saw him as a male again. It's even mentioned that she's still more interested in women than men, if I remember correctly. It was really weird and I can get why they changed it, but I never got the feeling that it was as serious as a lot of people made it out to be.
Yeah, really. ._. I'll say it was a...
Shard the Gentleman repliedYeah... and it's understandable why it was removed. I mean, Nintendo Audiences (not necessarily Xenoblade audiences) are largely 7 to 11 right?
Shulk repliedI've actually met way more older Nintendo fans than younger ones.
I'm not sure what their main target audience is, but they have been pushing for more mature audiences lately with some of their exclusives (Bayonetta and Fatal Frame, for example. Even first-party games like Xenoblade are getting more mature). Xenoblade is a T series, and not the type I can imagine kids playing, so it's weird that they'd cut the feature, but still not a major deal.Shard the Gentleman repliedHuh. I guess so. Most people I've met who play Nintendo are usually my age and older. Most kids I know are mostly int Xbox and stuff.
Shard the Gentleman replied
exactly! I hAve this group of friends I go hang with every weekend. Ll we do is talk, and play Brawl
although the Wii over there broke because they left it on for like 3 weeks. Not to menton it was modded to hEll
Shulk repliedSame here, although it went from being focused on Smash to just whatever Nintendo game phase we end up going through.

It seems like broken Wiis are becoming too common now. We've had a few broken Wiis in our group (Mostly because of modding though
), and my Wii's disc drive has broken twice. ._.Shard the Gentleman repliedThats unfortunate
We mostly played Smash because we're a poor group of people with no money
when the Wii broke, we played Melee. I miss the old smash though, just because they had characters like Sora and Vivi on there
Shulk repliedA few of the guys in my group focus our game budgets on the big Nintendo releases, so we've managed to get a few of the good multiplayer ones recently (Still missing some of the most recent ones, though ._.). We do occasionally bust out some old Gamecube games, too.
I don't really play modded Brawl anymore, but I know that my friends have some really weird characters in their game. ._.Shard the Gentleman repliedFor real. Some strange ones on there like Reggie, Iwata, Ronald McDonald, and Michael Jackson. We would probably end up doing that, but our money always end up going to other things. (Poor P-Sen, we're probably killing their notifications
)Shulk repliedI think our group had a Diglett. Just a plain old Diglett that still had the dirt trail when it jumped. ._. Also, at least in my case, a lot of the games I got were during sales, so that ended up helping a lot. I found a $10 game that we all ended up loving, so that was a good find. (Yeah... Sorry, Pangoro.
)Shard the Gentleman repliedHonestly there was a long period of time where I was completely unaware of what goes on in the gaming world (dark times) and I got all my info from covers of gaming magazines I couldn't afford
so I missed out on most things until 2009-ish. My group is talking about getting a Wii U (or NX if it's backwards compatible.)Shulk repliedI didn't really follow game news too often (I think just Pokemon and Brawl) until after Brawl came out and I started looking into more Nintendo games.
The Wii U has a lot of fun multiplayer games. If you can all manage to get one (Or the NX, assuming that works too), it would definitely be worth it if you ask me.Shard the Gentleman repliedI'll see what I can do. For now, though, I think I should sleep. Goodnight!
