    you know, i love nintendo, but a HUGE mistake they KEEP making is not keeping up with supply and demand. ESPECIALLY with amiibo. when i wanted something, i used to not have to worry about it selling out that early and not comming back. nintendo,i love you guys, but i seriously suggest trying to keep up with demand.

    Sometimes I wish religion didn't exist. Not because I hate God, or hate the idea of God- I just can't stand the contradictions, and conflicts. Where is the Truth?

    Contradictions and conflicts aren't just a religious thing; plenty of secular people struggle with variable concepts like Truth too. It's part of being human, and it SUCKS.

    Yeah, you're right...I just basically meant hose who grew u religiously like I did. When I was young, I went along with things for the simple fact that my parents believed it. But now that I'm older, I'm starting to see some contradictions in our "belief" but keep getting dismissed as not being "spiritual enough" to understand. -__-

    I know where you're coming from, my family's been very religious too (my grandpa was a pastor that went up and down California building up churches for 60 years, and my brother and sister are pretty heavily involved in church activities these days too). I don't think it has anything to do with being "spiritual enough", and there are plenty of instances in the Old and New Testament (I'm assuming we're talking Christianity, btw) where famous religious figures are the...

    I honestly don't have a problem with the stuff in the Bible that much. It makes sense to me as it is....but what DOESN'T make since is this "belief" I grew up in. The folks I now worship his prophet man more that Jesus himself, and it just confuses me. Even though some of the things he says contradicts the Bible or just isn't in there, they call me ignorant...

    Religion and spirituality can be related, but they're not linked. You can be religious but not spiritual, and spiritual but not religious. I never grew up with any sort of religion in my life, so my sense of morality isn't linked to religion. So since I was never raised that way, and I don't need it to determine good or bad, what use do I have for it?

    Individual religious beliefs are a grey area for me, but the collective religious community seems to do more harm than good. History shows a lot of not-nice things they did for the sake of god, committing atrocities because they felt they were doing the right thing. That's what gets under my skin: they can justify all these awful actions and consider the rest of the world bad people because they don't link their morality to god.

    @ Pandy Ah, that's a bit different. I've met a guy or two like that in my church experiences too (though I don't think they ever were pretentious enough to call themselves a "prophet"). If he's legitimately spreading misinformation, either intentional or not, that's what the Bible literally calls an anti-Christ (not to get too melodramatic about it :P).

    @ Dracozombie Well, I don't think religion tends to do more harm than good. Religion does a lot for a lot of people: providing tons of charity for food, clothing, housing, disease, etc., gives lost and confused people who aren't so self-assured as yourself a safe lace to turn, gives a species smart enough to see it's own death coming a reason not to be sad about it all the time.

    I know they can do good too, but that's not really a religious thing. That's more of an "I am an empathetic human being with the resources to help others" thing that you don't necessarily need a religion to do. Anyone can help and volunteer. Finding comfort in life and death is another grey area, but it seems a lot of religious people are so concerned with what happens after that they can ignore what's happening NOW.
