    How many hours of daylight do you have approximately over there? Where I'm at there's not even twelve, which literally can cause depression in many due to the lack of serotonin (or is it melatonin? I forget now) provided normally from the sun.

    Anyhow, ooh, yeah, I heard that you guys got quite the winter blast out that way as well! Pretty surprising for Cali, really.

    Well, the sun rises at 6 AM, and goes down at around 5-6 PM, normally, the sun goes down at around 7-8 PM. xD

    Winter depression is tied to there being less sunlight. So technically, it exists in the entire northern hemisphere.

    I live in Florida and I don't get any more depressed in the winter then I do any other time of the year.
