    I love Naruto Shippuden but man it takes forever for stuff to happen. I feel like the last 5 episodes I watched of Shippuden accomplished nothing and was just a bunch of flashbacks that anyone who's watching already knows

    I understand what's happening it just feels like they take an episode's worth of content and try to fluff it to last 3 or 4 episodes

    It's supposed to be a final romp with the cast of characters we've grown up with as we prepare for an event that not only signifies the main character's full transition into adulthood but also the end of the entire Naruto anime franchise sans Boruto. You can't rush that in one episode dude. Besides, that was how it was done in the light novel, so that's how it's going to be done in the anime.

    I'm not at the end though. I'm only about 250 episodes in. I understand it happening at the end but it feels out of place here imo

    Well even then, I don't know what the Hell you're on about because according to that, you just sat through one of the most emotional parts of the whole series.

    I'm just confused ig O_o

    I thought it was setting up for a big battle and then it started to try and get deep. I just figured they'd fight then like in the aftermath it'd get thoughtful and deep, I'm just confused. hopefully it feels better the more i watch xD

    It IS setting up for a big battle but there's other stuff that has to be done first. You're not just watching a random training arc, this is integral to the main character's abilities AND his overall state of being, and it's been set-up since pretty much the beginning of the series. Plus, if you've been paying attention, there were reasons as to why this was happening in the first place.

    You know what would be sad next year is the 5th anniversary of 1.5 coming out and we still don't have like a proper trailer or release date for Kingdom Hearts 3. I know games take time to make but damn. Still have time though.

    Nomura has more than one project. He used to have Versus XIII/FFXV to worry about as well until I think 2014. It's only natural for it to take so long when he has so much on his hands.

    Yeah they'll need it. I personally didn't cry though, I don't cry over anime, video games, books, etc. But I'm so disheartened in a good way... if that makes any sense.
