im working on a character list for the first tournament of Eternal Rivalry, but coming up with names is a nightmare!

    Think Pink replied

ikr? I always take forever to pick names, and once I do, I change them at least twice xD

    Queen Tery replied

lol the only story ive ever written where the names, were so easy to come up with was the Dark Prince, but that's probably because it was my first story. ive used up all the good names!

    Think Pink replied

I keep a list with me in case I come up with anything good. Right now I'm loving the name Brinsie.

    Think Pink replied

    pronounced like BRIN-SEE

    Queen Tery replied

thats a really interesting name! the names you come up with are usually very original!

    Oishii replied

What I do is go on baby naming sites and look through names. Sometimes I'll put a word in and find names with the same meaning.

    Queen Tery replied

    thats a pretty good idea!

    Think Pink replied

I was watching Anderson and Bethenney Frankel's daughter's name is Brin, and I just added the "sie" and thought it sounded cute. xD I spend 290834902384 hours on Google or looking through magazines for names. I have so many novels, there just aren't many names I like left. xD

    Queen Tery replied

lmao thats the downside of enjoying writing. writing block and coming up with names becomes inevitable.

    Queen Tery replied

and *having trouble* coming up with names

    Think Pink replied

I could help you come up with some. Do you prefer for this one some more common names or more original ones like Lyric, Brinsie, ect?

    Queen Tery replied

thanks, it kind of depends on the character, but ive been prefering more common names for a lot of the characters.
