I love all of those, but Muppet Treasure Island holds a special place in my heart, Tim Curry will always be Long John Silver to me. <3

I love the muppets treasure island, but not for Tim Curry as i always think of him as pennywise the clown in IT.

Gotta go with Pirates of the Caribbean on this one. I never get tired of watching those movies. (Except the fourth one, didn't really like that one at all)

Oh yeah the totally not unintentionally funny clown thing that sparked the most memetastic laugh ever. X)"

JK though, I can understand how that could be creepy...I just found it too funny to be scared however.

Hook is by-far one of my favorite movies e v e r! All the others are great, too, though!

Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Pirates Who Don't Do Anything! and Disney Peter Pan

Thanks for reminding me of Pirates who don't do anything. Loved that movie in my childhood.

Aye, Although Treasure Planet was good... I would say either Pirates of The Caribbean or Peter Pan (1953)

I loved Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, but Pirates of the Caribbean is my favorite.

Definitely Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end. It's one of the best films I've ever watched!!!!

Treasure Planet

TREASURE PLANET IS SO UNDERRATED! Get's my vote every time <3

Goonies!

Pirates of the Caribbean is a classic! Of course it is!

Pirate of the Caribbean,I think its the only pirate movie I saw with the 2003 Piter Pan

Hmm, well lass, when it comes down to it, me favorite tall tale definitely is Treasure Planet!  The tale of the scallywags Jim Hawkins and Silver always catches me eye! A great tale, to be sure!

Jack Sparrow's crazed journeys would have to be my close second picks, aye! :3

The Pirate Movie.

Arr.

The movie that has the song of my mid teens and still follows me around.

Treasure Planet

These are my favorite Pirate films!

1.) Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

2.) Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

3.) Treasure Planet

4.) Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

5.) Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

Muppet Treasure Island. Lots of these are good, but nothing beats Statler and Waldorf mocking you watching them.

Do I have to pick? PotC, Treasure Planet, The Pirates! to name a few, are all great films.

Treasure Island (1966) is the best Pirate movie. 360 min split into 4 parts. I just read that in the US the movie was cut down to 84 min (1970)???? And the music was changed.

PotC Dead Man's Chest or At World's End

Treasure Planet, thought I never thought of it as a pirate movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean is equally amazing though.

Was going to go Pirates of the Caribbean but Hook took my vote.
