Sure I do. You see me fight all the time in the Sonic games. Have you not seen me take on Eggman in that mech battle in the Space Colony Ark? :P

Yup, I have Amagir and weapon summoning. I can call a summon or two for aid if needed

I've had a couple of casual self-defense lessons and did a martial arts class as part of high school P.E. I enjoy it but I would never actually get into a real fight unless I had no choice.

I killed a man with my left thumb

I know some techniques on how to fight but I didn't take any lessons. I'd only fight if necessary (someone attacking me, forced into a fight, etc.)

I'm a pretty laid back passive guy. But, ironically, I actually grew up in one of the most dangerous parts of Brooklyn so i know how to fight

Self defense is important for certain situations, but I am passive by nature, I'd rather try to resolve conflicts in a calm, civil manner before resorting to fighting, either physical or a nasty argument of words. Unfortunately though, resolving things calmly and civilly can be easier said than done, depending on the situation. xD

I know how to use my head in combat! (Vee Headbutt pun? xP ) jk

Well, I have yet to truly learn about real combat, but if it was necessary, I could probably adapt to the situation at hand and use whatever weapon(s) are available. I really wanna learn to use a sword someday! >:)

(You don't have to change the original post if you guys don't want to, but I suggested this poll through VisitJoan. She usually credited whoever suggested the poll if it was originally suggested by a member, so if you guys modify the original post, that'd be cool. If not, it's alright!)

Rock on!

I am self taught, and know my own style of fighting, which I can use to protect myself. I really do need to one day learn more outside of my nature, but right now I can fight and defend myself pretty well.

And Keldeo over here needs to calm himself down on wanting to fight a powerful legendary ice dragon!

I was taught by my father and a friend about the bases of boxing, but that's pretty much it. I think that the boxer's stand would be my personal stand, but at the moment of actually hitting the other dude I may kick him once or twice even though that's not wat boxers do xD

I know long time ago, my dad was teaching me and my brother some self defensive stuff, when we were young.

He somewhat does that to me right now. And at the time of me being a college student, he would want me to keep "certain items" (like Dog Pepper Spray and a small tazer) with me, just in case if someone wants to try and do anything stupid especially at night when having night classes. I really don't like the fact I have to keep these "things" in my backpack. I just don't want to get in trouble with the campus police.

And I would just have to improvise with items that I can find lying around and try and defend myself.

I'm not the one to fight but if things get in a jumble and someone comes at me first or one of my friends then I'm there to defend and fight, as for if I "know" how, yes, I do even though I'm not "trained" I can still kick some...you know what I mean

Vidya Games totally count!

Not really can do fight, since I'm not learning any combat techniques. Sometimes I use something like bag (since I always carry quite heavy bag) as weapon to defend myself.

I help out the senseis training the kids ^^

I've received defense training for my job, and I'm pretty scrappy in general, but I can't really see myself engaging much in a fight. I'd run, and run faster than anybody else.

I don't have the "Sensei" title for nothin'. I have eight years of Kajukenbo training under my belt... my blue belt, to be precise. That two ranks away from black.

I mean, sure, I've been out of practice for four years, but I'm still a pretty burly guy and I could probably whip out a couple of the moves I was taught out of instinct. Plus, I have lots of sparring experience, so I can totally handle myself in a fight as long as both me and the guy I'm fighting are wearing the right equipment.

I know enough Judo to probably knock someone over if I had to, or at least get them down long enough to get away, but I'm far from a black belt.

I know basic fighting styles but I'm a passive person in nature unless really provoked, so I've never had a reason to get into fights. But now with that whole "Clown Epidemic" going on here, seems I have to brush up a little on my skills.  x.x  Thankfully, I always have my handy keyblades house keys to use as a weapon haha

I used to play swords with my cousin a lot when I was little. We actually got a pretty decent routine down and obviously I picked a few things up as time went on. I wouldn't say I'm an expert but if I had to defend myself with a sword, I might be able to hold out for, like, a minute. lol

My dad did, and to this day still does albeit sporadically, teach me and the rest of my siblings self defence, but he only knows how to box so that's what I actually learned xD

I'm cute but I could punch your lights out :D

Does playing a card game count as defending myself? xP

In all seriousness I'm pretty passive. I don't like fighting.

Peace!

I love this poll, it's so unexpected xD:O

I can throw half a decent punch since I've been in a few fights, but i'm really scrawny so I'm not strong xD I aim for the face, or if they are bigger than me then I use chairs...

I've taken some classes but I haven't retained most of it. Plus I am kind of passive by nature, I've never really been in a situation where I have to defend myself before. I would be interested in taking some sword fighting and martial arts classes some time in the future though.

To some extent i can definitely fight. I've been taking muay thai and silat lately to improve my ability and i managed to get upto a yellow belt in MMA, but kinda disappointed i didn't go further ^^

Yes. I can fight. I have 3 years knowlegde of Tai-Boxing. I was intrested of doing Capoiera aswell but ,i´m pretty much easy going nowadays .tbh, my feets shaking to have a decent fight against someone.

But I only fight ,if the situation is going downhill or if its the only choice.
