Hey there everyone, how's it going!? Now then, I know that there are many of you here who are upset over the fact that Winter is already over and we didn't get any Kingdom Hearts III announcements. Now, while I know that this can be upsetting, I'm here to reassure you that it'll be okay! There's still much more to look forward to this year, so fret not, for I can feel that we'll get an awesome overdose of Kingdom Hearts III news soon enough! Here I, The Friendly Neighborhood Webhead, would like to tell you why you should be excited!

 

 

So you see, we have had information these past few weeks! Granted, it may not be info the likes of which you would expect, but it's still info regarding the series in general, ya know? And besides, apparently, from what I've read here, Winter apparently doesn't end for Japan until March 31st, so Nomura may be a sly fox that's just waiting to surprise us all with something on the 28th! I hope that's the case!

 

Anyways, feel free to share your thoughts!

That music was great!  I do think we'll see something on Tuesday.

I think we will see atleast a screenshot of a new world (looking at Toy Story).

I also think that Nomura meant the backcover story was the possible KH3 info.

Am I srsly the only one on here who doesn't give af when we get KH news? Like I'm so patient with it like it's been already 10 years since KH2

idk why people keep getting their hopes up when it comes to KH3 announcements. at this point you'd think it'd be a common understanding to take things with a grain of salt and keep the expectations low. 

 

 

it's fun to get hyped and excited though so i guess you just have to be willing to accept the possibility of disappointment occurring 

I honestly think Disney is the most at fault out of the lack of news for Kingdom Hearts 3. As a matter of fact I think nomura even said in an interview that he wanted too post a trailer back when they released that Olympic screenshot. But of course Disney.....

Nomura Disney and square are just all doing a poor job at communicating with fans and giving updates. There's absolutely no sweeping it under the rug at this point.

 

Nomura is slowy becoming notorious (if he isnt already) for all this myth and disjointed communication and development updates. He does a great job at giving us remasters of Kingdom Hearts games to keep us at bay but at the end of the day they all know what we really want and that's Kingdom Hearts 3. Period.

They can't keep playing this game of cat-and-mouse with your fans. They need to start being more crystal clear with fans and do better with their communicating cause as of right now it's pure nonsense. I'm not mad or whatever just disappointed and frustrated.

I will love Kingdom Hearts until the day I die but that doesn't mean I'm just going to sweep everything under the rug and act like everything's hunky-dory.

 

Square, Disney, nomura, I don't ask for much just better communication for a fan that has loved this series and has been passionate about the series since 2002 the very first day it came out. I don't want any remasters of other Kingdom Hearts games iv beatin 50 times.

(not that I won't ever appreciate those remasters) welp back to purgatory good night.

Thats exactly how I see it too part of the problem is that it was annouced way to early plus the fact that nomura bites off more than he can chew kind off reminds me of the one my little pony episode where apple jack tries to take care of thefarm allby herself

Well, whatever the case may be, I just hope Nomura reveals something soon, because I want at the very least, a new trailer! Or even if it's just a small teaser, I'll take it!

Ooh, a Toy Story world reveal would be pretty neat! It'd be awesome to see how Andy's room looks like from the perspectives of Sora, Donald and Goofy!

It's not that, really. I mean, personally, I don't mind waiting for new Kingdom Hearts III updates, since as you said, it's already been ten years since Kingdom Hearts II. I can wait, since I'm a patient man, but there has to be some point when Nomura will share at least a bit more info, ya know? If not soon, then E3 is our most likely bet!

Yeah, I'm always making sure to keep my expectations in check so that I don't feel too bummed out, but I'm always hyped when it comes to Kingdom Hearts! Whatever comes our way, I'll be happy!

Yeah, you do make a solid point! I wish that Nomura would give us development updates the likes of which Tabata gave back when Final Fantasy XV was still in production! Obviously, these development updates would be things that would obviously not spoil the game, otherwise, we'd be spoiling ourselves of the last entry in the Xehanort Saga, and we don't want that! But it would be appreciated if there was more communication with the fanbase, ya know?

That's true! The backstory does delve into Kingdom Hearts III territory, so you could consider that a new announcement, but I think that there's more than meets the eye!
