Screenshots of Big Hero Six Trailer From Time Mark 1:19-1:23

Since it went by so fast I thought I catch every scene that was shown to be able to get a better idea of what's going on. Apologies for Aqua's, I tried but couldn't get a still frame captured.

 

I'm particularly interested in the chessboard, I wonder what exactly it's symbolizing. Please share your thoughts!

Well, the chess board image looks like Vanitas(Void Gear), Luxord/Young Xehanort(Hourglass), Saix(Sun with moon in it), Larxene(piece to the far right looking like her knives), Ansem SoD(Heartless symbol cut off on top right), and a few others I don't know of(Boxes on far left, six pointed star next to Larxene's piece, top left piece partially cut off, and topmost piece completely cut off) are surrounding Sora(Crown piece), with some background unknown white pieces having been captured in the back potentially referencing those who will fall/be defeated/die. To me it seems like this could be an allusion to the final battle of the game. As for the other images, Larxene's pic you can see Sven in the right and I noticed in the actual trailer, that Cristoph is with him too, but he seems to be cut off in this pic. The unknown white hair a lot of people are saying is a Norted Xion, though I'm not 100% sure myself. The next pick looks like a recreation of the very first scene we saw back in 2013 when KH3 was announced, where Sora sees Eraqus's Keyblade wash up on DI, but this time he's in his KH3 outfit, which means at some point after OC, we'll return to DI. As for the last image, I'm really diggig Aquanort's dark outfit, and if you look close at the bottom, you can see it's in tatters, meaning a lot has happened to her between her scene with Ansem the Wise at the end of Blank Points, and Riku and Mickey finding her in the the RoD.

I'm not sure about the Norted Xion either, but considering the return of Roxas it's more likely than not.

Most people think that it's Xion, although nothing is confirmed at this point.

I hope it's not though.  I remember there was some theories going around about Xion having black hair and her appearance was mainly due to how people saw her.  So, I just wonder how her hair went from black to white and who is the one viewing her.  It's likely Sora.  However, there comes a question.  Why would Sora see a tainted Xion?

Atm i think its Xion. Only for hair purposes. I also think that it could still be anyone because it looks like they are taking off their hood, but their head is still tilted back so you can't really tell. Lingering will is a good find, although i didn't mentioned it because i thought i....willed it.

See, I wasn't sure if Luxord or YX was the hourglass, since Luxord represents the element of time, but YX is a time traveler, and the hourglass is the keychain of No Name. I never even thought about the cubes being dice honestly, but that does make more sense.

Understandable especially in KH2 Luxord use time magic during his battle. I think dices make more sense because he's supposed to be a gambler and in KH2 just before you attack him Luxord turns you into a dice for a short time.

I think we'll have a better answer when we see more, I really think it's Lingering Will but as you said you can't really make it out..

I thing the  expectations of people are high right now and so they see a lot of things they WANT to see. Its a form of HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMEND! people are just excited and their fantasy and hopes get the better of them.
