Hello everyone. How's it going? So there is something important that I wanted to spread the word to on this site with all of you since I'm sure a lot of users on here own a PS4. And, apparently, there's a deadly virus that's currently going around bricking people's PS4's. If you want to know more details about this and how you can prevent this virus from completely destroying your PS4 than I suggest you watch the video below (also just so you guys know this isn't my video. This is is video from a YouTuber named "Josh Gaming").

 

 

 

So yeah, if you've watched the video, than you'll want to take action on your PS4 IMMEDIATELY. I'm sure all of you guys would hate for something like this to happen to your PS4. Especially for those that have games pre-ordered and plan to buy in the near future for your PS4 (like Kingdom Hearts 3).

Yep. I've had spam messages on my PlayStation account too. I got a Vita a few weeks ago and logged into PSN for the first time in well over a year and definitely had some random messages and friend requests that could not have come from a legit person. 

Thanks for informing us about this, Tails! I already went and secured my PS4's future, cuz with KHIII so close to us, there's no way I'm going to let my PS4 die! D:

My stepdad currently has possession of our PS4 in his and my mom's room so there's nothing I can do. I'll let him know. He's better with electronics anyway. 

Well that's terrifying. Luckily I already restricted my PS4's ability to receive messages to "Friends Only" last year. Good on you for spreading the word, though.

I've heard about it. I did set up the settings as I was following Tealgamemaster's video about 3 days ago. 

Well everyone, at least we all took preemptive measures to ensure that our PS4's wouldn't be ruined!
