Important Message To ALL PS4 Owners!

Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for letting us know.

Good to know. I'd been meaning to update who can message me for a while, and this gave me a good excuse to do it.

Thanks. I wouldn't have wanted the PS4 i've worked so hard for get bricked before KH3 comes out.

A virus? And I was just about to play Spiderman soon.  Good thing I decided to log in today.

Yep. I've had spam messages on my PlayStation account too. I got a Vita a few weeks ago and logged into PSN for the first time in well over a year and definitely had some random messages and friend requests that could not have come from a legit person.

When I get my PS4, I should put it on no responses.

A virus on a PS console?
Shit their range is spreading.
My stepdad currently has possession of our PS4 in his and my mom's room so there's nothing I can do. I'll let him know. He's better with electronics anyway.

Well that's terrifying. Luckily I already restricted my PS4's ability to receive messages to "Friends Only" last year. Good on you for spreading the word, though.

I've heard about it. I did set up the settings as I was following Tealgamemaster's video about 3 days ago.

Well everyone, at least we all took preemptive measures to ensure that our PS4's wouldn't be ruined!

So setting the PS4 messenger to "friends only" will be enough?
