We Have A Pretty Excellent Lineup Of Worlds For Kingdom Hearts III!

Posted

Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, we are finally almost on the cusp of finally getting to experience Kingdom Hearts III in all its glory in just one more month! With that being said, I wanted to post a topic on this thread, because I was thinking about the worlds we have for this game. While some people might think we don't have that many worlds, in truth, we actually have quite a robust set of worlds for this game, and a great lineup at that! To refresh, these are the already confirmed worlds!

  • Olympus
  • The Kingdom Of Corona
  • The Toy Box
  • Monstropolis
  • Arendelle
  • The Caribbean
  • Twilight Town
  • 100 Acre Wood
  • San Fransokyo
  • Scala Ad Caelum
  • The Mysterious Tower (This one is hit or miss since it could be a part of Twilight Town like it was in KHII.)
  • The Realm Of Darkness
  • The Keyblade Graveyard

So these are the already confirmed worlds! (The last two should be considered since major stuff goes down in these worlds.) But keep in mind that we also got some worlds shown discreetly in many of the trailers, and Nomura even said there would be a few worlds that would be cutscene only! So for those we got:

  • Radiant Garden
  • Kingdom Hearts? (The sky world place Chirithy is?)
  • Lea and Kairi's training place
  • The Land Of Departure/Castle Oblivion

I don't know if I'm forgetting anything else, but yeah. That puts the world count at 17, which is two worlds more than Kingdom Hearts II, I believe! Nomura wasn't kidding when he said this game was gonna be huge! :o

  • With less worlds than 2 I think we are in for a good time. Like Ienzo said, the worlds are expansive.  I can easily see myself lasting 3-6 hours in each.

  • If only radiant garden was playable. These worlds are gunna be amazing!

  • The world's are also more expansive than the ones in KH2 with hopefully the Organization playing a bigger roles in them compared to KH2.

Yeah.   I just hope we can bring more Disney and Final Fantasy world's into the mix.   I hope TWEWY makes it into KH4 or at least some spin off for the Switch.  What do you think of 101 Dalmatians as a world with Horace, Jasper and Cruella de Vil?  I wonder if Sora can utilize the Twilight Bark.

I know I disliked KH 2's the Carribean, but I'm really excited to play in the POtC world in this one. The ships battles look like a lot of fun and Sora's Pirate design is my favorite of his forms. I'm honestly excited for most of these worlds. They all just look so gorgeous! I think It's a pretty decent line up.

It looks breathtakingly fun. Seamlessly going from land to see is going to be so thrilling.

Overall i am okay with the worlds choosen. Of course there is always the voice that says or about this one and this one but i am confident that once i get really emersed in the game none of that will matter one bit. And in the future storage will only increase allowing for more worlds

The exploration aspect is what hypes me, something that KH2 was missing.

The worlds look so big. Navigating from Island to Island in the Caribbean, running up Skyscrapers in San Fransokyo, jumping off the top of Mount Olympus... Hopefully there are plenty of hidden areas to uncover

From what i have seen so far the game appears to be semi open world just as the other worlds before but i agree they need to put in a bit more space

Aren't the worlds' plots over once you completed the show for the first time, instead of re-visiting them as in KH2?

From the looks of things it looks like each world will take about 2-3 hours to fully complete even though we are only visiting them once, unlike in every other game where it's about 30 minutes to an hour, sometimes even shorter.

Yeah not fully open world. But the 'rooms' seem a lot bigger so one can only hope there are secrets to find.

That's good.  I wonder wgat the chest designs for each world.   Will they remain or vanish like did in KH1 and Days?  I wonder what the world maps will look like.

Same. The use of flomotion in KH 3 in general looks fun, especially when scaling up large structures and enemies. The scale of how small Sora is compared to enemies like the Rock Titan is insane.

And we are probably going to be faced with newer Titans other than the Rock and Ice Titans.

I can understand if people think the selection itself is disappointing, but like TruestSyn’s been saying, Square Enix have made the world series bigger than ever before. And as we’ve seen with Toy Story, the cutscenes are obviously gonna be longer than before and have additional depth, so that’s reason enough for me to believe that this game is bigger than ever.

It just seems like we don't get much of fearsome Disney bosses this time around.   It just seems like the only good villains so far are from Pixar worlds.

Wow, is it just me or did twilight town lose a lot of color?

I'm just super excited for all the worlds in the game, and the ones I'll probably have the most fun exploring will be The Caribbean, the Kingdom Of Corona and San Fransokyo! All the other worlds are amazing too, but these three in particular take the cake for me!

Gahh, we're getting that much closer to Kingdom Hearts III! :'D
