As the title says will you give your party members potions amd other items or do you think after so many games you have seen enough and dont consider it worth it to spend munny on. Or will you just give a few select party memebers items that you have configurated yourself

In my experience they die so fast that there's really no point in wasting your items on them. Or if you give them their own items to use they just throw them away by using them when your HP drops to like 50%.

I'll admit I sometimes do give them potions if I'm doing well myself. With spells it usually cures everyone at the same time anyway especially curaga so I usually use those for myself.

They, especially Donald rarely heal us with their potions.   It's kind of pointless wasting potions on some party members  that die quickly and then come back quickly and then die again and rinse and repeat. 

Haha no. Like i'm giving them potions and stuff after all the times they blew them in the past.

Isn't there an option that only allows them to use the potions on you? Maybe I imagined it lol. But, if there's such an option, then sure I'll give them some options but only so they can heal me. It'll save me some time.

There could be. But again, my major issue wasn't them throwing away the items on each other, it was them using the items on a character that still had half their health left over, so they didn't really need the item. Which means the item was kind of wasted. 

I'll probably do it before boss fights just in case. Yeah they waste items like no one's business but every once in a while they do legitimately save me. I also want to see if the AI is as wasteful as it used to be. 

I'd stock up on potions in all of their slots in the beginning of the game... then once it's gone it's gone for them. I use the rest of the potions for myself.

I hope they improved upon it.   I remember seeing Donald and Goofy rush at the enemy,  knock on them and then RIP. Some times early on the game, I needed them to save me but they took too long to revive.   I hope the AI gives us shorter periods of revival

So first thing once the game starts is for you to remove all the items in their inventory if they have any in the beginning im presume

Thats true but in my experience its not worth it in regular fights to invest so much time to fill up the slots every time if there was a single button that speeds up the whole thing or takes it out of your inventory automaticly after battles than i would habe beeen a lot more happy

Yea one should believe that they had time to improve the AI after 16 years

Because you would have to beat several enemies several times early on to make up for Donald and Goofy's wasted potions.

I'd still look after myself before giving Donald and Goofy a potion. I don't know how many times I needed to be cured but Donald instead heals Goofy while I get knocked out by the boss.  Is Donald for real?

I don't know. Depending on how Donald and Goofy's AI is, I may or may not give them some. I usually didn't trust giving potions to them because they always seemed to use them at the most inopportune moments.

Yeah they pretty much either used them on themselves, each other or rarely on you.

Even within the story of the game they had to realise that they are not as important as the master of the keyblade is lol

Donald and  Goofy would get annihilated by MoM.   They got pretty beaten up by bosses before like Saix.  I would still level them up instead of giving them my potions. 

I will give them potions. Hopefully there is a customize option like it KHII where you can tell them to use them sparingly. If not, they will eat them up like candy.
