The VA in Re:CoM completely, totally did NOT match with the animation. Like that one part where Vexen says "I'm a scientist, yes". That part was so LOL

It never changed from the Japanese lip flaps

I never even paid attention to Vexen's lip movements, I was just so mad because he kept kicking my butt.

I almost exclusively used attack commands on my first playthrough

The hardest boss in Re:CoM for Riku's side was Trickmaster. Not even joking

Thrown into a late game world where the highest card in your deck is a 5
When enemies can and do pull cards and sleights dramatically higher than that

Trickster was the toughest on Sora. Ngl

And I was very terrible at the card duels. But doing those was the only way to win. Took a while to defeat Trickmaster

I gotta agree with some people here and say (imo) that the gba version is the definitive version. I'm also heavily biased because I got it at disney world and played it while waiting in line or on bus lines, I remember it more than the rides tbh

Well I mean....... the way I see it.... they tried to put a battle system that was built for 2D space into a 3D space with no changes.....
you get a better gameplay experience out of the GBA version, but you get a better story experience from the PS version. ?

That sounds about right to me. GBA gameplay is definitely better but I love the voice acting and cutscenes
