ye

i gotta say i barely struggled with 2fm lvl 1 until the very end as well as the postgame bosses

but main story was still a breeze for the most part

could just be the fact ive played it since i was like 8

I think any version of Crit helps a lot when you know the game super well

Level 1 up until the end becomes quite easy for people cause they know what to use when

or at least find out

so for the sake of lvl 1 crit runs

are strength, defense and ap boosts allowed?

like the ones you pick up during the game?

what about for fufilling synthesis

are the ones you need to make to add them to the creation list also good?

because i did use them in my playthrough

for myself id say yes again
For me a Level 1 run is just, using Zero EXP the whole way through but everything else is fair game

I know others like to go the full mile and use nothing else at all

i didnt know if i was defeating the purpose of the run by using them since from what i hear basically using them defeats some of the purpose of staying at level 1

since leveling up mainly gives strength and magic

there's no real "right" way to play any mode so do what you gotta do lol

until you get into like, actual tournaments like randos and speedrun type stuff

those usually have set guidelines and restrictions

but otherwise its all fair game, play it however you want lol

if you want the extra challenge, dont use the boosts

For my background with KH2FM I've done the main story on Standard, although the Roxas fight has traditionally been a roadblock for me, and I haven't attempted Proud. Never defeated any of the data Org fights or Lingering Will, any attempts have been the asswhooping players usually get. Based on this is it recommended to try a Level 1 Crit run or just a regular Crit run?

depends on how much you enjoy dying haha
Chances are Level 1 would have you see the game over screen a bunch but it's not impossible by any means

id say it comes down to your choice

Level 1 just requires you to know the ins and outs a bit more whilst regular crit you can level up some stats if need be

do you want the more traditional rpg route where you can grind out levels until you beat a certain segment, or do you want to be punished constantly until you're finally rewarded when you figure out a proper strategy

Choose option 2 soradab

More rewarding

Over the summer I'ma have to try kh2fm crit, data battles and all, I wanna really get that game down

I'm not tempted to go back to 3 since I beat Yozora lol, only took a year xD

i'm never gonna dare to go back to KHII

never

ever

ever

I remember when I talked about my KH2 level 1 run years ago, 2 people got genuinely quite annoyed that I used strength and defence boosts

Because wading yourself through the trials and tribulations of never levelling up isn't enough for some people, you have to be gatekeeped

what is the mod

I assume every other line is a different language

This blanket looks cool

Might cop

I'm not going to go say you can't do it but using stat boost feels like cheating or different category of level 1 since you are no longer working with level 1 stats
