Hmmm, I'm not sure what you mean

Do you have any examples?

Like.. yeah I know, everything kinda got added but.. let me try to list out what I mean

So while BBS was a prequel, of course.. A lot of it’s story and lore, didn’t tangle up KH1’s lore too much, but rather contextualized some moments of the story, such as Riku’s jealously, how Kairi got to Destiny Islands, reiterating that Sora’s light is strong, and basically giving us a little more context to Ansem SoD’s obsession with darkness
Re:Coded, while yes, it’s basically a revisiting of KH1... It doesn’t trip over what happened in the first aside from the bugs that are occurring, and Sora and Riku’s friendship being more like an outspoken view of it where they’re basically looking back on what happened in a way.
Chi/Ux is basically giving us context to that fairytale we heard of, and why keyblades are key-shaped(since we were told it’s because they were made in the image of the X-blade by MoM), though it has an easier of working around KH1 since it’s meant to be the distant past.
DDD basically has Sora and Riku seemingly return to Destiny Islands just before it fell to darkness so that they can enter the sleeping worlds, and Ansem’s cloaked form was even there, iirc..

0.2, like @thatoneguybackthere pointed out, also kinda is writing around KH1.. It directly connects via the end scene and gives us events that are apparently concurrent.:

KH2 and 3, well.: they’re definitely more sequels

And Days is more built around KH2 than anything

Oh I see, he does like to go back and expand on the ideas that were brought up in the game, I guess he sees it as a "core" almost

Essentially like the concept of nobodies and the Seasalt Trio

the fairytale said that kingdom hearts was swallowed by the darkness, which became the realm of darkness. So the one we see in KH1 is the real kingdom hearts

Okay. When I first played KH1 as a kid. Until I heard his voice I thought Riku was a girl. I was a dummie child

Look I didn’t understand body types.

I only when on the cartoon logic of Long Hair and big eye lashes is girl

I can't blame you

If I didn't watch any anime as a kid, I would have thought the same

Who else thought terk was a guy before kh1

From Tarzan

Same here xD it took me a long ass time to realize that she's actually a female.

This might be unrelated but is there a drawing book released by Tetsuya Nomura that shows you a step by step basis of drawing either Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts or The World Ends With You characters?

i don't think that exists

this exists tho

oh boy I sure do love farming sniperwilds

1. Equip a Keyblade with a high magic stat
2. Glide and platform onto the brown rooftops without being spotted
3. Have Thunder set to a shortcut
4. Have a (admittedly tediously) fun time blasting them from the roof

You also might want to pack a lot of ethers

Hmm, I've been doing it the stop+hit and run method, I didn't know you could use thunder

Might have to try that because it sounds less stressful
