I am sorry, but Ghost of Tsushima does not deserver game of the year

Its a great and fun game but the only thing it excels at is in art direction, that's what it should win

While the game is fun, the story is only fine with some great highlights here and there

But then it gets bigged down by other stuff like cutscene direction in side quests or just not that great mocap, especially when playing in Japanese

Say what you want about the story of Last of Us, but that game was ahead of Ghost in every single thing other than art direction, and I guess loading speed.

Hell, as much as I hate Animal Crossing, even I think that one deserves Game of the Year just because of how much it helped people this year when the pandemic started

yeah tsushima was alright from an art direction standpoint, that game's firetrucking gorgeous

but it wasn't anything truly remarkable outside of that

story in particular felt very underwhelming

Although one thing i would say GoT got snubbed at is the music

It not getting nominated there suuuuucks

I feel Ghost Of Tsushima will win Game Of The Year. It was a truly outstanding game, Sucker Punch really went out of their way to create an immersive Samurai experience!

One of the shops here around me is gonna start selling the PS5 in an hour...
