they're not going to go through every country for a demo

usually demos are executed in smaller countries and/or low population countries and/or the country where the main server is

Japan is small and is where Squeenix is
Australia is near Japan, it's not too hard to extent to there plus population is low
UK is relatively small

US is big with a huge population and not near Japan

would make more sense to do testing via the potential bigger spender country to get people hooked in advance

Well, the biggest market from them is probably Japan

While this is true, US had +11% of the playerbase while Japan (at least) had less than 4.5%.

So for Kingdom hearts, Japan will still probably be the main money maker, but US is probably more balanced then a RPD stat would imply.

yeah gatcha games are basically live service games

it's worse than battle passes since you buy power instead of just cosmetics

i think nomura talked about a subscription, some gacha have that, you pay every month to get benefits

khux had the weekly but no monthly

i would prefer a monthly one

especially since I'm other Gachas, their monthly costed the same as ux's weekly. ux was so stingy lol
