raiden94 17 Posted May 23 If theyre smart they'll likeRelease it for 5, 10 bucks on virtual stores as a like 2-3 hour ✨️experience✨️
Limen 10 Posted May 23 i mentioned it in the channel already, but if they still plan on having it tie to KH4, then spending time and resources to create an animated series, and THEN have it fully release, would delay KH4 even further if we're expected to know the full story first. I'd love a KH animated series, but not at the cost of more delays lolthe best option would be a package movie with kh4 using the cutscenes they already have similar to the .5 collections
autismsupersoldier 0 Posted May 23 ux has a novel but it doesnt go past the events of the keyblade war to my knowledge
B-Rad 0 Posted May 26 I'll take any form of media I can, so long as we can all enjoy the story in some shape or form. Quick side question here: I know KHUx is no longer playable since it's servers shut down, while it's smaller cousin Dark Road CAN because Square designed it that way. Since Missing Link is quite a different game than it's predecessors, what are the odds that when the .apk of Missing Link eventually finds its way into the wild that any part of it will be in a playable state, with or without serious help from the modding community? King Arthur13 52 Posted May 26 They only developed enough of MI for the launch so I doubt it was exactly filled with story. And I think being willing to accept any form of story telling in this series is a bit desperate. Crave interabctable story telling for this series over just cs simulators
MegaChamp 9 Posted May 26 I guess I'm never going to understand why everyone was so obsessed with this game.
hawk222_1550644792 17 Posted May 26 content drought makes people desire things they might never have wanted before. hell, i bet mgs fans wanted more pachinko machines for a while when they were the only new thing the series was producing (and these are a thing the fandom as a whole loathes so that tells you something)
raiden94 17 Posted May 26 nah we were all pretty unified against Konami for the most part lmao

Noleen#7811 5 Posted May 26 it was the next kh game, that's all
MegaChamp 9 Posted May 26 This game was going to fail and be a waste of money either way. Either it was going to have a low player base and fail or be canceled. There was no winning. But if it helps you sleep at night... that's just how I personally feel
raiden94 17 Posted May 26 Man you guys are so cynical to this game lol like I get it but goddamnMobile games aren't evil lmao no need to have a Satanic Panic attack over it
Limen 10 Posted May 27 fr people have such a bias against mobile games it's hilarious yes people can be exploited by mobile games, and yes a lot of companies go for that route for more money obviously, but it is most definitely not inherently tied to mobile gaming at all. some incredible games started as mobile games(Monument Valley, Sky), others are fully playable on mobile now (FF1-9, DQ, Dead Cells, etc). it's literally just another platform. blame devs for their money grubbing, not mobile gaming. some PC games have some pretty bad exploitation as well, but no one is out there claiming all PC games are destined to fail because of thatML probably wasn't going to be the greatest mobile game ever, and it definitely would have been gimmicky with the geolocation stuff, but i can tell you for sure it would have been an incredible time having a semi-multiplayer online experience for this series. of course, I'm not saying it isn't without its flaws either. STOP PUTTING CANON STORY INTO MOBILE GAMES SQUAREalas, it'll never see the light of day anyway
Otti#8624 26 Posted May 27 The last sentence is my big issue with this. I am not hiding my bias against mobile games, but the fact that they blue all the story for months and years is what really sucks ass. If it at least gave the full story on day 1 I would be more open to it. But the fact that this would have been the 4th (or 5th?) try at another mobile KH game really did sour me since it was announced.
Limen 10 Posted May 27 i also still think the unofficial reason for the cancellation and the long drought of no news before it was because, after the beta, they realized they didn't have the infrastructure to scale the GPS stuff globally and spent a while trying to figure that out until they just gave up on itkhux was really bad with it too, having months and months of filler content to pad out the important stuff, until they realized they had to close up shop soon and then didn't have the team to do it all in timecould've finished it up years earlier without all the filler updatesalso, another note on Chi, was that none of it was even supposed to be like, SUPER canon in the first place. it was a browser game, and it was supposed to be a "loose" telling of the years before. then they went and decided to make it concrete canon that was necessary for KH3 and 4 which kinda pissed me off
hawk222_1550644792 17 Posted May 27 what's that last part about the 4th or 5th mobile game? i thought ux and dr were the only ones (with ml being the unreleased 3rd)there's a reason agrabah was such a meme in the community, lol
Limen 10 Posted May 27 potentially talking about the two games Square wasn't involved in (V Cast and Fragmented Keys)
hawk222_1550644792 17 Posted May 27 either that or it was referring to the handheld games as well, since those all fall into the "not a console game" camp
Otti#8624 26 Posted May 27 I was counting the rebranding of X, pretty sure we went through 3 of thoseThen we had DR and the now cancelled ML
hawk222_1550644792 17 Posted May 27 ahh, i see now. i can really only count that as 2 personally, since x is different than ux, but ux (unchained x) and ux (union x) are legit the same game
