Hmm, the fuzziness is probably not caused by the image being blown up, that's not to say that it wouldn't look better at a lower resolution. The thing is that fuzziness reminds me of the visual noise cameras usually get when they aren't getting optimal exposure. An example of this can be seen with your own eyes at night in room with no lights on. If you look around everything will be a bit fuzzy and actually resemble the fuzziness in that picture, because it is basically the same thing. Though how to fix this with a camera usually is to use flash photography, or longer exposure times (slower shutter speed).

 

I wouldn't call the second picture homicidal as much as a serious look.
