As for my unpopular opinion:

 

I believe that women should be allowed to wear whatever they want, hell the should be able to shirtless if guys can too, and not be called sluts. They should be able to sleep with who they want, WHEN they want. They aren't hurting you or anyone else so why make them feel bad and call them sluts.

It's not your life and it isn't your business. No need to make someone feel horrid.

Some fanfics can actually be interesting and good. (I've only read/am only reading one, but I think it's pretty good.)

Water based levels in platforming games are a blight on mankind. Whether it's Crash Bandicoot or Mario, they are invariably horrible and terrible and generally an abomination.

To the people saying KH2 is a mashfest (it's not) or PRESS TRIANGLE TO WIN. (which is not true, by the way)

 

Maybe If you equipped the square abilities and alternated between X , SQUARE and magic you would find yourself button mashing a lot less. Even less than in BBS.

I hate dark atmospheres in a lot of games and TV shows. Some do it right, like Soul Eater, but a lot completely turn me off. Death Note and Attack on Titan are two perfect examples of series I will never watch mainly because of the atmosphere. It's really not anything cool, especially when it's been done to death.

What's the point of having a switchblade if you can't go anywhere with it?

but the story is just lame from what I can tell, the designs all look the same only going through a palette of colors, and... it's like the fans themselves hate the majority of what the series has provided.

I hate the stories of the current games. The only time the series came close to having an interesting and continuous story is when Shadow's story arc occurred, which is long dead. I think that Sonic 06 would have had a good story if it did not become utterly nonsensical.

I feel like in fanfictions, people (especially horny 12 year old girls with a lust for yaoi) should just make some of the characters bisexual. I mean, it's a third option rather than saying "sugoi anime boy A is YAOI. He hates girls and all of his girl friends are friend zoned and they're stupid bitches!!!1!"

 

Then you feel like if he's just straight he could be missing out on a lot of possible successful relationships with someone of the same gender.

 

I'll use someone as an example.

 

In Yugioh, I highly headcanon Joey as bisexual. Why? Because I ship him with Mai...buuuut also with Kaiba. See, a lot of people make the mistake in thinking "oh, Joey can't be into both!! I have to pick one!" like, no, you don't. Your character shouldn't be limited to just straight and gay. Make them more diverse, give them more options - it makes for a more realistic characterization.

 

I nearby declare from this moment on to make characters in my future fanfictions anything except straight and gay (unless specifically stated by the character that they are one or the other).

 

I'm not bisexual by the way, idk. I just feel like stories would be...better, there would be a lot less hate of female characters (since a lot of the time, a female character is hated for getting in the way of some girl's super-sugoiyo-yaoi fantasy. Sora, Kairi and Riku can be an example since a lot of people hate Kairi for NO REASON other than they claim she "gets in the way").

 

Meh, maybe it's just me but I feel like you have a lot more options by making a character bisexual. : D Pansexual, asexual, and others I honestly haven't seen in fanfictions at all. Well implied by those particularly unique characters, but not directly stated.

An opinion I harbor that is rather unpopular with my friends:

 

Not going to lie,most dystopian media is beginning to upset me, not because of the stories themselves, but because people around me honestly consider and tell me aalllllll about who they'd kill first out of the people they work with etc. were they to be pitted against one another in some way.

Why is this becoming so relevant?

Is there so little desire for humanity left in society?

 

And THEN the sixth graders my mother teaches literally, honestly thought that if they were stranded somewhere it would be perfectly acceptable to resort to cannibalism.

 

Sometimes it just feels like we're all doomed to dystopia, because people are beginning to want it.

I strongly believe that if you're going to hate something, hate it individually and not a group as a whole.

 

For example.

 

"I hate Jewish people!" = NO

"I hate this one guy in particular who just happens to be Jewish for reasons other than he is Jewish!" = YES

 

And no, I really do not hate Jewish people. That was in quotations and if you didn't get the contest then you need to read more. I could care less what religious belief you have.

 

Idk like, I just feel that people need to stop firetrucking generalizing things. If you're gonna hate me, don't hate me because I'm white, asexual, or without a religion - hate me because I'm me. Stop dragging all these other groups down because some people are actually firetruckin on your side too.

I'm a guy, yes, but that does not make me anywhere near interested in, or even remotely capable at performing in physical sports. I've seen other guys that don't like it either, but are forced into it! Intellectual sports exist you know, and I'm sorry, but I've never seen people forced into those.
