Square Enix have updated the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter to announce that Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will be featured at a Square Enix event in Tokyo on Saturday March 3, 2012. No other information was given. What do you think will be shown at the event? Let us know at our forum.

 

Update: Square Enix have posted on the official Kingdom Hearts blog about the event. While they don't reveal too much about what will be happening, they do state that the event will celebrate the series' 10th Anniversary and be called a "Premiere Event". This event will be open to selected members of Square Enix Memebers Japan.

 

The event will be held at a venue in Odaiba, Tokyo and will run 5 times throughout the day on Saturday March 3, 2012. In local Japan time, these times are 1:30PM to 2:10PM at the earliest, and 5:30PM to 6:30PM at the latest. The venue will be decorated with "Kingdom Hearts" color, containing familiar characters and the history of the series. Post cards with Kingdom Hearts artwork will be distributed.

 

Square Enix have also set up a website for the event.

 

Sweet! I'm hoping for an English trailer, but unfortunately that's very unlikely, since the event is in Japan.

Even though it's in Tokyo, I so desperately want an English dubbed trailer to be shown. I can't wait to see what's actually gonna happen!

 

Edit: Actually, i'm really starting to think it could be an English trailer, considering I sent an email to Square-Enix asking about an English trailer and they replied a little earlier today with, "we advise you to monitor the internet for release information." Although it's nothing certain, it's still getting my hopes up!

I am just hoping we get some more gameplay.

Perhaps a new world? or more gamplay? More new wonderful dream eaters or new features?

Yeah, well they could show more game play in ten minutes.

if there's a event for kingdom hearts 3D i think they might show more of those gameplay videos with the drop gauge, dream eaters etc and if they can they can announced that Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance to come to U.S and Europe Summer 2012 to the Nintendo 3Ds that's what i am hoping because i can't wait for this game i am going extremely crazy for this game!

you know what since we have a few japanese trailer and japan's release date in march i say we get the trailers in english dubbed and announcement release date for this game that would say the game coming to the 3Ds summer 2012.

The question that remains is.......How hard will this event make Rob jizz?

It will be held at the Church Plaza event space on Odaiba's Venus Fort facility from 1:30 to 6:10 PM (Japanese time) on March 3rd. The event space will be decorated to look like KH and have appearances from your favourite characters. The show will repeat 5 times, each showing will be 40 minutes. Admission is free, and attendees will be given a KH3D postcard. There will also be a draw where 25 Square Enix Members will get priority access to the event.
