Hey kiddies, time for a serious thread in Random because firetruck you I don't know where else to put this. It's something that has been bothering me for years.

When a girl wears makeup all of a sudden, you may think

'WOW WHAT A WHORE/SLUT/PROSTITUTE/OR ANY OTHER SEXIST TERM, SHE MUST WANT ATTENTION/WANT TO IMPRESS SOMEONE/WANTS TO GET LAID/WANT TO GET RAPED (WHICH IS ALSO BULLSHIT AND IF YOU THINK THIS firetruck YOU)'

Guess what you need to do.

 

The reasons as to why a girl wears makeup:

• She likes makeup and like experimenting with it
• She wants to accentuate her best features (which is the point of makeup??)
• She wants to look nice and not like she just woke up and rolled out of bed
• She wants to feel and look pretty
• She just wants to firetrucking wear makeup
• Or maybe society firetrucking pressure into it by being told she looked ugly and she should just cake makeup on her face to meet society's standards of beauty
• Either way it's not your business

Reasons that are not why a girl wears makeup:

• To impress you
• Seriously shut up
• None of your business
• If you're a girl and you don't wear makeup cool for you
• But don't you dare shame those who do
• Because firetruck you
• It doesn't make you any better
• AND BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE OBVIOUSLY DID NOT READ: GIRLS DO NOT WEAR MAKEUP TO IMPRESS YOU, STOP BEING FULL OF YOURSELF AND SHUT UP IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS

Also if a guy wears makeup it's none of your business either.

 

As someone who's been wearing makeup since 8th grade, I find it extremely rude when people assume I only wear makeup to impress. And it's happened to me on several occasions and it's happened to people I know on several occasions.

Newsflash: I wear makeup because I like makeup and it makes my eyes look even prettier than they are (because damn I have gorgeous big eyes and curly eyelashes) and just I look hotter with it.

 

 

This has been a thread by Koko telling you guys to stop being stupid firetrucks but most of you will ignore me and/or argue with me and I will just laugh because you're dumb.

Well said! I don't normally wear make-up for a few reasons, but I do have my days when wearing make-up sounds fun and I just want to experiment with it. And on those days, a lot of my friends assume that I must be going on a date.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. It's not harming you if a girl wears make-up; it's her decision, not yours. So back off.

If they want to make themselves feel better by getting plastic surgery then so be it. Don't insult/make fun of them until they go suicide because of some abusive remarks. They don't have the same thinking as you are. Think before you say anything.

I only wear makeup when it's something really nice otherwise I don't give a damn firetruck about it. I don't care if anyone else wears makeup anyways I tend to overlook those things. My sister has naturally beautiful eyelashes that everyone would die for. Unfortunately people think she's wearing makeup and start to fuss over it. I really don't see the point in fussing over these kind of things.

Aaaaaaaamen. I don't wear my makeup to impress anyone. It's just a part of being me, and my 'bubbly' personality.

I can't stand hearing "oh, people like you need it" or, "she wears makeup, so she must be doing things."

 

Seriously, judging on makeup? Can't we all just learn acceptance?
