Apple is such an innovative company

The very last comment is stupid. The only obsolete thing about the HP tablet would be the software, which could of been upgraded if it sold better. Everything else about the HP tablet is superior.

Note: The iPad in the picture is a generation 1. Still though, 7 years later and still technologically inferior.

Me neither, it's not like tablets are a new thing after all, Wacom, for example, has a lot of tablets too, long before iPad existed ( I understand they are tablets used to draw and stuff, but, it's a tablet) I think that the population that didn't knew tablets existed only discovered they did, when iPad came out, because, ya know... Apple is a big company, and when this population that didn't knew about tablets took a look on the iPad, they were like

OMG THE FUTURE IS HERE!

And that's why.

Apple is really good at marketing. That's the only reason why they made it so far in computing. Everyone else makes stuff that looks modern, Apple makes stuff that looks futuristic (despite being below average). Then they advertise the crap out of it and make people feel important because they own one. It's such a foolproof and brilliant plan that you would think a super-villain has been controlling Apple all these years.

Yeah, i only own one thing made from apple, which is my little beloved iPod Shuffle, and, honestly, i love every single design from Apple, in a way that, if i had the money, i would only own things made from Apple... So, yeah, the futuristic design you mentioned, it makes sense.

Seems legit.

And now Apple would like to introduce to the world: The iLaser!

I'm curious. If you were to get a tablet, what kind would you get?

I think the Idea of a giant Ipod touch is enough to have it sold.

We only pay for brands in this day and age, the actual product comes second.

I have an iPad & an iPod and both work just fine. ._. Apple's products suit the average person fairly well. I mean, most of the fancy stuff the iPad is missing we wouldn't need anyway. I'd also like to point out that while I know practically nothing about anything remotely technical, my iPad has a headphones plug. I listen to stuff all the time on it.

You're paying more for inferior technology, simply because you choose not to be informed.

I guess, in a way, you deserve it...

I'm not much of a tablet person, but if I had unlimited funds and the will to own a tablet I'd probably an Asus Eee Pad or the Sony Tablet S.

Why should she choose to be informed if she's happy and satisfied with what she has? It's her choice. There's no need to be rude or criticize her for it.

For what the iPad does, it's not that bad of a price. It may not compare as well to that other tablet, but it fits most of the average person's needs. Why should I buy something like the other tablet that has a bunch of features I'll never use? It would be a waste. There are plenty of other people who wouldn't use them as well. That's like saying that paper is inferior to typing on a computer. In some ways maybe it is, but you don't see people not using paper anymore. Almost everyone has an iPad or iPhone that we all use daily, and I don't hear the majority of people complaining. Apple created a product that suits the needs of most individuals. Sure, some people probably do need the other more fancy tablet, but the average person doesn't. The iPad is not a bad product at all.

I love this owo

I never liked Apple.... their designs are cool but I just hate using their products

we have to use Macs (and sometimes iPads) in school and like all of my friends have iPhones. It's only me and someone else in my class that despise Apple products

Shame because it's the opposite for me. I can't use a PC or Windows computer without being technologically challenged.

Ignorance is bliss.

But you shouldn't actively choose to be ignorant.

That depends on the person.

I'm not being ignorant. For the average Joe, you don't need anything better than the iPad. The iPad gets the job done.

Haha So true !

I agree Fred, that last comment is stupid. I'm old fashioned, so I know.

And that's why I hate Apple right now.

Hahaha oh Apple~. Heres another thing Apples been stealing ideas for years, hell in an interview Steve said as plan as day they do. But then when people started making smart phones he gets pissed and said it's his idea. Oh Apple~

Apple are good to eat.

I can barely turn Mac computers on, much less use them. And I find the whole tablet thing pretty useless, personally. Anything I can do on there I can do on my computer better, or even my phone.
