After experiencing the DDD demo ..

Posted

what do you guys think of the free flow actions? .. Personally I took a lot of time throughout the demo to practice the different motions using every interactive object I could find and figuring out what different attacks branched off of them. Sure it gave you the ability to sweep through an area as you pleased within a matter of seconds, but it also gives you multiple routes to take, whether it be on one of the several paths they've laid across the ground, rebounding off the different forms of architecture within the level or even hovering over the rooftops and grinding on the different lines overhead ... It's definitely a new step for the series that can take some getting use to, but if you're like me and enjoy exploring every inch of a level looking for treasure chests and enemies to level-grind on, I'm sure you'll enjoy this new addition to the Kingdom Hearts franchise.

I think the Free Flow Action is a great addition to the Kingdom Hearts franchise. it adds something new and fun to experience.

I like the flowmotion, but unlike a lot of others it's actually taking me a bit of getting used to. It's hard to aim directly at a specific part of wall or lamppost (sometimes even the big dream eaters) if you're too close or too far from them. I often missed my target and ended up going left or right of it, it's pretty frustrating... I'm sure I'll get the hang of it though.

I can slide on the rails well at least. I had more fun just jumping around on practically every single roof there was though, I didn't want to leave a single area unexplored. d:

xD jk

I liked it but I will need lots of time getting used to it

I'm cool with it now that I'm not a total spazz when I use it.

I was too distracted by the beautiful 3D to utilize the flow motion to its fullest, but I did like it :)

I did a silly test comparing how fast you can get through certain checkpoints in the 2nd district of traverse town in KH1 and then the 3D demo (basically a race). Considering that the flowmotion alone beat superglide, high jump, and sora's climbing together by over double the speed (3D's 16 seconds as opposed to number 1's 40 seconds), I'd say flowmotion is one of the best things in the series yet haha

I got the hang of it after 3 playthroughs, but it needs a bit of cleaning up cause it gets too crazy at times. hopefully if its reintroduced in KH3 it'll be more refined and mellow but not too mellow, and at least optional for usage. But overall, I love the mechanic.

lol and the first version was basically impossible to even wall jump according to the interviews .. must be a very complex system.

"After experiencing the DDD demo..." I realized I wanted the full game.

Love flowmotion but demo should have been like the first 20 to 30 min. Also demo has a glitch in tutorial where u get stuck on first pole. Happened to me and saw another video on YouTube.

I absolutely love the free flow action. Felt so smooth and powerful. Can't wait to jump around in the other worlds :D

free flow and relatity shift is just like reaction comands its flashy and easaly abuseable i would never have to hit the a button or X button to beat them i just use y lol.

I actually think the spells were more powerful, especially if you press it repeatedly. free flow actually didn't do that much more than a normal combo.

It's so ....AMAZING!

I really liked everything in the demo

The freeflow action is pretty awesome, though I wish they added more areas to the demo.

tutti frutti. The freeflow action was pretty cool. Though for the demo, I wish that it was a bit longer.
